Hallucinogenics will forever have me in a blissful choke hold  and Buddy's Rendezvous is a lush experience of time travelling splendour

    also Dayglo Reflection goes hard

I love all her songs with Barrie (UFB, Riverside, Summer Wine, If You Lie Down With Me, Brooklyn Baby...), they're heaven.
I also like all her work with Abel (Stargirl, Lust for Life, Party Monster, Prisoner...); yes his voice sounds "whiny" sometimes but his sound is incredible for Lana. I want more collabs from them.

However I feel like Ocean Blvd has her best features ever, which was a surprise to me as I wasn't expecting much when the tracklist was released.

Candy Necklace I think is my favorite LDR collab. Jon's piano skills speak for themselves. His voice at the end is a highlight. Pure cinematic magic.
The samples used in Paris Texas and Grandfather are beautiful. Jack's verse in Margaret is my favorite part of the song.
Let the Light In is a damn classic.

But then we have the Judah Smith Interlude which I hate, and as much as I love Peppers, I could've lived without Tommy's sample.

As for live performances, Wicked Games with Chris Isaak was iconic. Her vocals towards the end are gorgeous.

It's not even 2 minutes long but Stargirl Interlude has always taken over my body every time it comes on.

I can’t get over how much better this version is compared to the released. I know she probably felt like she was in a very different headspace for Chemtrails and obviously the production didn’t really match the rest of the album, but damn, this is just so much more effective and powerful.

LMLYAW just sounds like your pretty standard love song but with a bit of a conservative anti-feminism sounding title which isn’t the best look.

Pink Champagne isn’t really a love song, it’s kind of a desperate plea for a guy to let Lana love him as a form of escapism for how miserable she is. I mean, the line about getting hard to stay sober really gets me considering she actually has been sober. Plus the context of her dreaming of being a famous artist all her live and her dream not living up to what she thought she wanted. And then there’s the production. It’s just all around such a more interesting song. LMLYAW is gorgeous, but forgettable. And the title wouldn’t even sound cringey with the context of how the song was originally written.

I'll never understand the hype around Revelations. Problematique should've replaced it, but I understand why she couldn't considering that's also the name of the scrapped album.

Claws is so mindblowingly good. A career highlight for her, maybe even her best ever.

So, the very minute after Neil Krug posted that fabulous outtake from the "Rust Dress/Ultraviolet White" photoshoot, I took a look on that set for the thousandth time and actually found out the set is so different from other sets made for "Ultraviolence", and with that it's in that "Ultraviolence" universe, and if literally every other shot is perfect for "Ultraviolence" with its roughness and moody vibe around it, "Ultraviolet White" set gave me some strong mid-end spring static, light and warm vibes. And "Ultraviolence" is definitely the album where every outtake deserves a spot on it, it's just you can't throw away any of songs - they are just on their places, so me and my friend figured out the special edition for this album and created this project, "Deadly Nightshade EP", that is supposed to capture that spring and melancholy atmosphere really well. It's still "Ultraviolence", but with that special suburban and forest touch of early-May breeze. Happy to see any feedback regarding this fan project

    Here is the tracklist

    1. Yes to Heaven (James Ford Version)
    2. Fine China (Rick Nowels Version - unleaked, but I'm sure it will fit very best)
    3. Your Girl
    4. Unidentified Flying Bill
    5. Nectar of the Gods
    6. Living Legend
    7. Flipside
    8. Is This Happiness

    And visuals - Covers

    Booklet

    Disk
