sophie was a major part of my 2018. i was never a big fan of her specifically, but i recognized her importance to music and "oil of every pearl's un-insides" was one of my favorite albums of that year. in 2018, i struggled with serious depression and anxiety. at the end of the day, her music was my source of happiness. even though i stopped listening to her stuff after that year, she still had a very important place in my heart.
when i heard the news today, i was in complete shock. right now, i am listening to her album for the first time in two years. i can barely describe what i am feeling. thank you so much for your inspiring art, sophie. you reached for the moon, and now you are the most beautiful star in the night sky. i will never forget what you and your music represented to me in my darkest days. rest in power, my queen <3

really really sad... please take care of yourselves mentally and emotionally today/tonight wherever you are. Try not to get trapped in endless twitter scrolling and reading news articles, you don’t need overexposure to something so upsetting. For some of you it might be most beneficial to take some time offline and reflect on what SOPHIE, her music, and her artistry meant to you. For me, I’m reflecting on how impactful Product was on me and my friends when it came out and how things have changed and I have grown. Continue to be good and kind to one another

@White Hot Forever @Venice Bitch same with my car, I have cds and tapes but I only really use the cds and certainly don’t buy new tapes bc they’re literally terrible  they must just be making them cuz it’s ~*~vintáge~*~ and you can make them in lots of colors so ppl will want to collect them all

Simply no other way to say this, either than that he is truly an icon. I'm not a large fan of his music, or genre even, but wow he never ceases to amaze me, or anyone probably. His older music is probably the only stuff I'll ever connect with, but wow. It really shocks me that she has no one close enough to her to get her the help she needs. I feel so bad for her regardless of all of the horrible things that come out her mouth. She clearly has a severe form of mental illness and needs help immediately. That post breaks my heart
