We don't know if Sky ever got around to recording Live to Tell, but I remember she tweeted about wanting to cover the song in early 2019 (which I can't find anymore due to her Twitter deletion), and it was also on her '80s essentials playlist from 2014 (along with Voices Carry).... so it wouldn't surprise me if she did!

i disagree! i think descending_160_kbps_maxipads_exclusive.mp3 will be a hit in the underground bunkers... i heard that the rich biosphere people also have a couple demos of cry baby tracks we already have!

Observatory Mansions is my favorite, but NBL is the easiest to get into. I love her older stuff, it reminds me of lizzy grant laptop demos, if you're into that you'll surely like her first three albums. HSB is really amazing too but it can be a grower from person to person

i would honestly recommened going nbl->hsb->observatory mansions->ode to dawn weiner->flowers of flesh and blood->curdled milk. start with the more well produced stuff and then slowly get more and more lo-fi until she's just singing into her laptop mic

I’m happy to hear there’s an album for those of you who have waited  I might use this as an opportunity to finally dive into her discog, I only really know a handful of songs (You’re so Cool is my favorite).
Do y’all recommend going chronologically or doing the essentials first then working backwards?

As someone who's actually seen her perform live this year and reviewed (probably hours worth of) footage from London I can say she sounded great in all songs. The only thing she struggled with were the very high notes in Descending.
 
As a side note for all the people coming here just to criticize her - it won't change anything, move on if you're done with/waiting for her, and get a life. Finally, @111, as the de facto leader of the Sky hate train - I hope one day you find the happiness your life so clearly lacks so that you can solve your superiority-complex-as-coping-mechanism act and stop begging for hole on Twitter. We don't care what you think, L-word something or shut up.

Her stories suggest they kinda just ghost her instead of giving her a release date even though we know it’s been submitted so I guess that answers how they “block” the release? She complained about the same thing around this time last year about getting no date for Don’t Forget. Her vagueness over the years implied hostility/sensationalized the issue but now that we know it’s indifference from their behalf this isn’t hard to believe tbh?

I just read the review and I personally couldn’t agree less tbh. This album is many things but lethargic is not one of them… I also have trouble believing they miss the vulgarity of previous albums because I just know they would’ve dragged her for “regressing now that she had full control” or some bs like that.

Yeah guys I don’t think hounding Capitol’s social media will do anything other than give the interns running them a headache nnn this is Sky’s battle to fight. 
She’s messy and unreliable as we know but I understand her on this one. If Descending’s already been finished and submitted, I don’t see why she wouldn’t want to release what is potentially the best song thus far? She seems desperate so she really should pull a RAYE at this rate, the worst that could happen has already happened so

I actually enjoy the album very much besides Cute & Cruel and two more songs that I won't mention because they would earn me a ban but I'd say overall the album is a very solid 84 at least.
