I like whispering glades a lot so I’m not mad it’s on the tracklist but it definitely feels old at this point. I feel like the production already matches with the other 2 songs as well so I don’t think it will get a rework. In any case I think there’s a strong possibility this might be her best work yet. Natural Born Losers throne is getting usurped methinks.

Lana on Rolling Stone's list of Best Singers of All Time
domandapiano replied to Beautiful Loser's topic in Latest News
I haven’t looked at this list but knowing Joni Mitchell isn’t in it is all I need to know it’s fully a piece of clickbait trash. -
I know everyone is hating on conceited but I bop to that one hard. I definitely think it’s fun, I like the beat.

She just posted on insta so hopefully she posts info soon I feel like if it wasn’t gonna drop on the 6th she would know by now, and while I don’t think she would say anything about it being pushed back, I don’t think she’d do a little photo dump a week before. like l think she’s excited to get it out and be seen.

The studio cut of Million Dollar Man comes to mind because she sounds like a drunk robot whose vocal processor stopped functioning correctly. I cannot listen to that song because of how weird and not natural the vocals are.

Yeah, she did say a single was coming in December. As long as the album actually comes on January 6th I don’t care if no more singles get released.

Just because a song isn’t relatable to YOU doesn’t mean it’s not relatable to someone else. Also @Terrence Loves Me, the song objectively has a melody. It’s got notes that are formed into musical phrases which is by definition a melody. Perhaps the melody isn’t striking some people as memorable, which is fair, but for every one person who isn’t into it it seems there is at least 2 that love it. it just blows my mind how people are creating and looking for reasons to be negative. Hate the new song all you want and I will respect that but we literally hardly know anything else and so many people wanna fill the blanks with negativity like who hurt you???

It definitely has some real stand outs. Im enjoying it.

Still haven’t listened but it’s getting reviewed amazingly which I’m kind it surprised about! Good for her!! I’ll be listening shortly.

Im looking forward to it but as soon as I heard that there were 23 tracks I lowered my expectations. Who needs to put that many songs on an album!??? There’s almost no way to pull that off without half of it being filler.

Honestly I’m so living for this title. It’s giving me urban legend, 7wonders of twilight town, spirited away, creepy but in a way where something pulls you in. I can just picture a scene in a movie where a friend asks coyly “did you know there’s a tunnel under ocean boulevard” and it cuts to a shot of a dark tunnel entrance. Slowly the camera pans towards the dark tunnel. You can’t see what’s inside, and the movie isn’t going to show you yet, but you know that something’s in there and you gonna find out what. and it needs the “did you know…” part to give me these vibez

fair but I’ve never taken a magazine shoot as explicit proof/hints towards the aesthetic of an album (particularly one that wasn’t done yet). I really don’t think there will be that much correlation between that magazine shoot and the art for this album at all.

Anyone latching themselves to the witchy foggy northern Cali beach vibez (which DOES sound lovely) is and has been setting themselves up for disappointment because as far as I can recall the only person who mentioned that was Ms. DragonWhore and weren’t they disproved?? In any case we are all allowed to have our feelings about things including fonts but it does read as a touch melodramatic when we haven’t seen the font in context. Let’s wait till she shows us the actual ugly ass cover to lose our heads yeah?
-
the font legitimately looks good on these images, I can’t @ the lot of you complaining about a font you aren’t even suppose to have seen with absolutely no context

I rebuke the name Drought Near California it’s clunky and ugly.

Obligatory “what happened today” post because it seems something happened and it’s buried in many pages. So… what news did we receive today???
