It sounds so GOOD. Damn this album is really gonna be that girl. strangers has been like crack for me ever since it came out. I’m sure I’ve listened to it at least a hundred times. The American teenager snippet has been on replay today and I have to show restraint and stop listening till the full song comes out.

While some of the songs did have weird or unexciting titles when she was revealing them, they all look nice packaged up as a tracklist.

The lilac heaven line is one of the best on BB, no questions. She seems to really strike a chord with critics when she makes references to technology like that (livestreams on in the greatest, iPad in hiadt…). It cleverly contextualizes the songs and make them more attached to the times in which they are released. I wouldn’t be surprised if whatever record we get next will have lots of little moments like this.

I swear if we don’t get more than a single this year…

I feel like at this point there’s hardly an unpopular Lana opinion. Everyone seems so divided on everything already. mine: honeymoon is good but it’s also a bit boring at times and people who complain about her new stuff being boring while hailing honeymoon as the magnum opus of the world tickle me. I do enjoy the production of the first half of the record quite a bit, but the more bombastic moments near the end of the album mostly whiff for me. If I never heard any of the songs past Burnt Norton again it wouldn’t upset me too much.

It’s still up on insta there is hope.

I actually really liked this season! Def the best since 9 I think. The no elimination thing did get tiring after like the 4th time it happened, but I do think this was an insanely likeable cast and I’m not mad we had the dolls for longer than we normally would have. Everyone in the top 5 is great but I gotta pull for willow. She reasonably could have won 2/3 more challenges this season. regarding uk 3 it’s very underwhelming. Uk 2 is legitimately one of the best drag race seasons ever and uk has none of what made that season great (the most magnetic personalities leave too soon)

Iowkey I was worried I might not like the new version as much as I liked the ones I’d already grown attached to, but it’s so damn next level. It’s so dreamy and dramatic and I love it.

It was a cute moment on BB to have living legend, cherry blossom, etc find a forever home, but I prefer albums that’s are crafted as their own bodies of work generally, without going back and padding it with stuff that’s been recorded long before the album they are on is even an idea. Re-recorded versions are a different story, she can do that all she wants. Just no old recordings plz.

Here’s the thing with Lana and Jack: NFR pushed them to such stratospheric heights and, although both good, COCC and BB weren’t nearly as successful or acclaimed. I feel like they both want to achieve the same successes they’ve shared in the past, and I hope (and think) they know they really have to hit it outta the park if they are gonna do that. They set a high benchmark for themselves and now everything they do will be compared to NFR. If whatever they produce isn’t absolutely brilliant it will just live in NFR’s shadow. I have faith in them, though.

This might be the Oscar’s that convinces me to never pay attention to the Oscar’s again.

Of course the new snippet sounds amazing and of course there’s a chance we will never actually hear the whole thing 🥲

Which I suppose isn’t that different than any other year. But like don’t look up with a best picture nom!? Coda being every celebs favorite going into the ceremony!?!? Like what is going ON.

The way all these bonus tracks are really good particularly how can I not, and sorry if I hurt you. They are maybe a lil repetitive but they all go so hard anyways. i really enjoy crash. Lightning, crash, move me, yuck, the bonus tracks, and Caroline’s new shapes verse are my favorite parts of this album.
