I SO wish this was the only featuring on HIFN. I would've loved even more IFU as a feature!

Thank you! I did one long ago, but it doesn't have additions like in Patient. In it, I filtered out her vocals and edited it so I could layer it as a "background vocal", and that's why it sounds much more complete now. But with Band Aid, I didn't add anything extra, just made a little extended edit so it wasn't as short as the original leak.

i was shitting on it before but i'm listening to this record on repeat since release and it's growing A LOT, it sets a certain mood and it really has some very magical moments like the intro of The Path or the deluxe tracks
i can't say yet if i like the whole record but i'm definitely past the hate phase
my favs: Hold No Grudge, Dominoes, Big Star, but i'm able to find something to enjoy in every song,
except the title track  this one is just dull and so uniteresting, i don't know what it's supposed to do but it's not doing it for me

i swear you have a hate boner for this album 

just ordered the music box! so excited to hear the bonus tracks Helen Of Troy and Hold No Grudge but I like the album I rate it an 8/10.

YES. A standout. I honestly love the melody on it. I think it's one of her strongest tbh. 
 
 
I feel like if this album had come out when SP was written (2019) we'd have a very different feeling towards it. This would've been a stellar 2 year follow-up to Melodrama, but underwhelming for a "comeback" moment.

I'm pretty sure she will! She particularly serves vocally in Wildflower Wildfire and Blue Banisters, and the harmonies in Text Book are beautiful too, so I think she will go awffff in Arcadia and the rest of the album too

It's true there could've been more done to it, but it's not terrible... or did the previous remixes set the bar too low so this feels like a step up from them?

I just finished the album, and I gotta say I enjoyed it more than I was expecting! I won't put all my notes here, just my personal rating for each song, my faves and the ones I didn't vibe much lol.

It's okay if people don't like it - but it's in no way a bad record. Whoever wants a more electropop, radio friendly, intense sounding material from Lorde, can revisit her previous catalog

Damn why is it so short  I wish the chorus was twice longer with new lyrics in the second half or something, at least that would help edits not to feel too repetitive. And that production is incredible
