i do. i love the song that much.
 
the video is honestly so great to play on tv if you're hanging w friends or just hanging out by yourself. or, from your laptop while taking a candlelit bath. 
 
yes, a lot of it is looped driving footage. it's so effectively used. the first ~four minutes intersperse purely enchanting clips of lana, and like, is she even acting? 
 
but it is an intense song with a dramatic, dreamy beat change slowly unwound into wandering and exploration… and those moments are when she dips out, and the music takes over. those unfixed hours on the freeway—literally, the open road—are for us to vibe in our own way. 
 
finally, as the wayward guitar solo melts into the sunset, we and lana reconnect. she sounds satisfied. confident. comfortable… oh look, silly lana, getting in trouble with the police again. 
 
she ain't mad. she's having fun.
 

I feel the same way ... especially with the "3:33 make a wish" ... the trolling is tiresome.
 
I'm like, "whatever, bitch" whenever she posts instead of actually being excited.

"The Greatest" Cat Power tease

The flower/plant for NFR, at least to me, is Monterey Cypress. She references it in her poem, Past the Bushes Cypress Thriving, and visually,  it sounds like MAC and VB.

You don't have to be stronger than you really are is my most anticipated track but I love literally all the snippets we got so far. And it's so exciting to think there are a couple of songs we know nothing about yet.

We don’t need any covers, any features, any ugly font, any borders, or any Chuck.

It doesn’t look terrible. And I don’t hate the idea of starting with H2D. I really want In Your Car to have another name, though. I actually like that name but I just wanna be surprised when I’m first listening to the record and I don’t know which one it is and then a song ends and all of a sudden the next song opens with those warm piano chords and it’s just total bliss. It’d be such a moment.

i hope the album is filled w songs that use lots of strings but also some other songs w psychedelic guitar surf vibes... imagine THE POWER the album would have with those instrumentals.

Let’s try something a little different. Which songs off the album do y’all think will be best for singing to/as/about your pets?
 
Happiness is a Butterfly definitely suits one of my cats. I’ll probably sing it to her all the time.
Hope already is already a song I sing to one of my other cats a lot or with him (“hope is a dangerous thing for a kitty like me to have but I have it” haha)
And I really think Cinnamon will be perfect for singing to my oldest cat.
 
I always find it fun repurposing songs for my cats.

I am PRAYING for all of us x
