Yeah, I actually do really wonder what her perfume would have been like. I tested Gucci Guilty and didn't like it, but I srsly doubt she wears it anyway. "I put on my favourite lotion and my favourite perfume. I have a process for getting ready for the day too. [...] put on your daytime perfume." Does anyone know what her day and night perfumes are? I would legit love to know that.

It's messing with me (in a good way) that she looks so Lizzy / May Jailer here! For ages, I sincerely thought on SS it was "sizzlin' like a snail"...like, escargot I guess? A snail sizzling in butter?! Sean's show was cancelled! LOLOLOL :clap: If that entire relationship mess could fade into distant memory, that would be great, as dating him was Exhibit A of her being pretty clueless about racism even if not intentionally racist herself (as I do agree she has a good heart). I don't think you can live in the U.S. and not be aware of the ongoing problem with police racism and brutality even before George Floyd. The more she can distance herself from Sean, the better honestly.

If she posted what she donated, people would say it was not enough...or if it was a bazillion dollars and they couldn't say that, THEN they would say she was showing off her wealth and privilege, or something. I'm torn between feeling nervous every time she posts and glad she hasn't let the bastards get her down. I was worried she'd go silent for months, but nope! Her latest posts are good and she sounds "honest, capable." I'm hoping the social media storm will calm, because frankly there are way more important things to be focusing on, and in the future, when there are articles about her, it'll turn into 1-2 lines at most, like: "Del Rey was accused of racism following a controversial IG post. She later posted support of BLM and repeatedly denied allegations of racism." And then she won a bunch of Grammys and had a kid and two cats in the yard, THE END.

Adele is British. I mean, people all over the world are outraged, protesting, etc., but people probably expect a response from Lana because 1. it's her own country, 2. the people she recently called her friends and peers are speaking out, and 3. the other mess just happened and even if she didn't mean it to be about race, that's what it turned into, so this is her chance to "walk the talk" after saying "I'm not racist." And it looks like she is doing exactly that! :cheer:

I'm trying to recall if she's ever really posted much on social media about current events in real time...she's done a couple of songs about how she feels about current events (Coachella, Looking for America), but my sense is that it would be new / almost unprecedented for her to speak up now? Or am I wrong? Feel free to correct if so. Sort of weird for this to now be a thread about what she HASN'T posted on Instagram, but I guess that's where we are.
