what a post i've never expected to read 

So who else is excited for fingertips 

I'm so blown away by everyones reactions, i really don't know what i'm in for. I can't really imagine what it sounds like. And the fact that people are saying it's like two different songs.. so technically we're in for a 17 track masterpiece, oh we're feasting this year 

I think anyone saying that is just speculating. I don’t think any insider has said anything about it, and tbh neither song really ends with anything that gives me the impression that they will transition into the next song really?

I'm not listening to A&W until the album comes out because I'm insane but I saw something about the song transitions being seamless? How sure are we of this after A&W? Is it just a guess?

I just want to say that after listening to the new single, I am 100% convinced that this will be her best album. I was already feeling that way after hearing the first single, seeing the imagery, and reading the titles & insider info, but now I have absolutely no doubt. This is it. We've known that Lana has always been a genius when it comes to her lyrics and melodies, but I feel her vision is stronger than ever. I've said it before, but I just know this record will contain some of her rawest, most personal writing mixed with brilliant creative sonic patterns we've never seen from her before. The past two singles prove it already. I am sort of at a loss for more words at the moment as I'm so overwhelmed, so all I can say is that I'm so proud of her and I can't wait to hear the rest of the record. The two singles have floored me enough already, I'm going to be in absolute shambles come release day x

“I know this is fucked up, but I’ve changed the title. It’s going to now be called, ‘Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd Pearl Watch Me on Ring a Bell Psycho Lifeguard.’” He was like, “What the fuck?” I was like, “I’m not telling anyone. Just mock it up.” He mocked it up, but we realized that maybe it was a bit much to have six titles in one.

Breaking my silence:
 
Peppers kinda already divided me from the Fandom bc the gays will shake their ass to ANYTHING. And although I trust Lana, the source material has me genuinely worried. Haven't said anything about it bc last time I mentioned/made a joke about not being excited for one of the collabs, I was called racist 

Personally, I prefer to hear the album all at once rather than have multiple singles sporadically released with only a few unheard songs left by the time the whole record is released. For Blue Banisters, there were only 6 unheard tracks on release day as the other 9 were either released as singles or were the previously unreleased leaked songs. 
Hearing a brand new Lana record for the first time start to finish is truly an incredible, unmatched experience. I think 2 singles leading up to the release is all I’d want. One to get the momentum going, as with the title track for this cycle, and another as the date gets closer to finish building that hype.
I’m not sure if we’ll get another single before the record releases, but it would be a nice treat! I’d only want one more though so I’d still have lots of new treats on release day x

ok so this is gonna sound a little off topic at first but i promise i’ll circle back around to the album. it connects, i swear.
 i remember every single lana album release since honeymoon. hell, i even remember where i was when i heard each individual ldr song since then. that was 7-8 years ago. i remember lana being my escape for when my mental health was in shambles (which was constantly, to be honest). but recently, i’ve really been putting in the work to help myself and my mental health to surprisingly successful results. and for the first time in a while, i feel genuinely content and happy. that’s why im so so excited for this new album from lana. it feels like for the first time i’ll be listening to one of her albums as if i were meeting an old friend, rather than escaping my mind. i feel like she’s been with me since i was a kid, and it’s just so damn exciting to be getting this new album at such a good time in my life (mentally, at least). i know that things may feel rough right now for any given person, but i want to offer my love and support for anyone who might not be feeling the best. we’ve all been there at one point or another, and i know you’re probably sick of hearing this, but it DOES get better. i promise. it just takes a lot of time, work, and sometimes just a sliver of hope. i love you guys, and im so excited to experience this record with you guys next month. much love, (and sorry for the extra long and extra corny post), yassgrenade. <3
