This album was the first time I experienced the phenomenon of lana releasing something that thematically fits in perfectly with where you are in life.
 
I was working up to 60 hours a week and was so tired I only cared about the simple things. I was at a transition point in life where I was just totally over my rebellious younger years. Fed up with clubbing, drinking, toxic people, and just wanted to be happy and healthy. 

I was gonna make a joke about this wanting to be Ride so bad but then I realised it was actually released first 

I know your comment is old asf but i can't stand her videos. She likes saying things just for the sake of saying things. Obviously-- how else would critics pay the bills?

As much as I enjoy the content Rachel creates, I just disagree with this video (I believe I hadn’t even watched it when I posted it here lol). The comments are even worse lol there was someone accusing Lana of gLoRiYiNg CoNsPiRaCy ThEoRiEs despite COCC and Violet having little in common; the latter mentioning a chemtrail in ONE line

just watched a star is born. not awful but it's so fast paced and i'm not used to watching stuff where SOO much happens in the plot

she's not a pathological liar for wanting to create her own artistic world/story. It's not like she has a responsibility to tell her real life story to millions of strangers 

I don't have a problem with how people interpert lana songs, even if they're harmful towards themselves. Everyone has their time to explore their darkness. But I agree with @Pr3ttyP4rtyFav0r that fans creating their own mythology of lanas life and treating it as a fact is soooo annoying and idiotic

but it still seems like she plans on releasing it, doesn't it? she only ever brings it up in a sort of anticipatory attitude, and it looks like a lot of work has gone into it already so she probably wouldn't just abandon it
