i just saw zara larsson’s IG story and I 100% agree that the reason why we should be begging for artists and celebrities to speak up is to put “PRESSURE ON OUR POLITICIANS”
 
it’s clear that the majority of those who want their favs to speak up only want them to so they can feel good about stanning them and so their fav doesn’t get any hate. you can see it on here and all over stan twitter you can see people arguing with one another and bragging about their fav showing public support. i feel that pleading with celebrities to speak up to make an impact within politics and pressure those who can make a change is really impactful, but to just have them only speak put by posting a little IG story and nothing more is just really stupid and performative. every time this thread is hot, it’s because of lana or some other celebrity, not over new news

one of her best songs  when I saw this live I think I transcended, her voice was so heavenly. everything about this song I love. the psychedelic vibes and guitar solo, the eerie instrumentals and hauntingly gorgeous vocals. I was in love when I first head his song back in 2014 and I still am forever obsessed
