why i am cry-laughing over the description of "style meets PWYC" i cannot think of two more diff songs...that said i am as hype as anyone else for this, not a taylor stan by any stretch of the world but enjoy her radio singles when i hear them– i'm sure this will be a folk-bop for the ages.

this answer is the MOST "we don't approve but we can't say that" answer of all time....clearly they subscribe to the "we love gays in SPITE of their gayness" doctrine which is homophobic trash. i know lana doesn't feel the same way but it still hurts a little that she'd associate with a church like this (there are SO MANY churches, esp in LA, that are actually progressive and even radical). that said...i've never looked to lana for political insights so whatevs, enjoy yr homophobic church girl!

it's not that deep, by any means, but it does illustrate something about her character that we were already familiar with, and is perhaps easier to discuss when it's low-stakes like this (vs. shitting on her aryan cop boyfriend or whatever the fuck) because it's an interesting subject, not because lana is in the wrong for anything
