I do hear the similarities with Chemtrails and BB but I also hear a natural progression and evolution from those records. I loved them so I'm happy she's keeping that sound but adding new layers and depth to it.
I have really high expectations for this album

I thought that too but if it's actually about American Whore (Lana) & Jack (The ex or Antonoff) maybe it's a fun carefree song

Also I’m lowkey not expecting that to be a bop or cherry esque I feel like it will be an introspective HIADT… moment

I wonder what American Whore is gonna be about. If the album discusses the past and memories, maybe it talks about her initial reception by the public in the BTD days? Or it’s just sexy fun. Either way I’m down and hyped 

These are some incredible titles.. and I just know the lyrics are going to be too, if it’s any indication from the first single. This album just may contain her best writing yet.. x

But I wanted to say I love love love the single. The album cover is so fucking beautiful and so are all the alternative covers, I cannot wait for the album.

This is totally what I was expecting from Blue Banisters, and even though I love that record, I always felt like she had more to say and more to divulge….it seems that this will fulfill that. <3

This makes a lot of sense, especially considering that Ocean Boulevard was chosen as the title track. I definitely think that was for a reason. I’m so excited for this album’s lyrics 

she's trying to come for honeymoon's spot as her best album... we'll see if she does!
