I mean I've been a fan since 2012 and I still think it sounds similar to BB but not in a bad way. It reminds me of IYLDWM and Thunder in the sense that they have a calmer start with the piano and keep building throughout the song.
I think it's a nice transition between BB and what's to come 
 
I'm a firm believer that none of her albums sound the same but there are particular songs that reminisce of other records and that's completely fine (and I love it cause I'm nostalgic and I loved BB).
I do think this new one is the superior track tho 

people thinking she counts AKA as part of her "nine" albums  interscope/polydor isn't gonna count an album not released by them as part of her discography, she isn't gonna count an abandoned album, not available to stream/purchase, as part of her discography. GIVE IT UP

I don’t think she would do this but I would love to see a performance of DYKTTATUOB with a live orchestra, the back up singers, and (no one come for me) Jack playing the electric guitar that comes in at the end.

the picture dates back to their first meeting, but is it Lana’s nickname? Is Lana Jim in her songs?!? 

Based on the writing credits, I’ve seen that Jon Batiste penned two tracks with her. Maybe it’s for two separate songs, but I’m leaning towards Rockefeller having an interlude as an intro or outro 
sorry if it’s been discussed, but Wednesday, being a Lana Stan was a full-time job and I had very little time to process everything

The melody is similar on some parts, yes. When she opens the song, it reminds me of « talk to me with that whisky breath », and the chorus reminds me of « light me up like a Fourth of July ». IYLDWM is probably my favourite song ouf of BB, but I didn’t think she could top it
