It’s also the fifth Lana song to get the Best New Track seal of approval along with Video Games, Love, Venice Bitch, and The greatest. Ocean Blvd is coming for NFR’s wig. 

hear me on this: once Tunnel gets recognised by everyone as the best album ever and gets the long awaited grammy, and then she gets an Oscar after Candy Necklace becomes the theme song of the new Willy Wonka movie, she should just rework Behind the Iron Gates and get a Nobel Prize for literature while she’s at it.

I also don't understand why they were so mad about the release date leaking... Surely they did not expect the song to do better if it were an actual surprise drop? 
 
If anything, the song did so well not only because it is amazing but because the fans were doing a lot to hype the release

Tbh I like their approach right now, like what is she supposed to be saying about the release anyways this week? A&W should speak for itself, I think it's smart after dropping a song like this to stand back and watch it work its magic. For me she's building the best kind of hype  We also have strong reason to believe that we have at least one if not two more magazines coming, and I personally don't want any more music except for at most one more single a week before the album.

It's the way they didn't even announce that the single was on its way, except for that one "👍" an hour before... talk about a big campaign. 

Okay... Really glad for A&W but it's been a week with zero promo, no Ocean Blvd post, no news, nada...
