The only huge thing LMLYLAW has going for it is it’s an original. Summertime has a beautiful arrangement and vocals out of this world, and You’ll Never Walk Alone has strings

I was just thinking and wondering this. I really hope so! If so we really are in store for something amazing.  

In her insta post, by “standard crew”, do you think she means her band and back up singers performed on the entire standards album with her? Omg! If so, is shaping up to be one of Lana’s best albums!

I'm more and more hyped for this album since she released Summertime. That and her cover of You'll Never Walk Alone (the latter won't probably be on this but I wonder if Summertime will)

This American Classic covers album is going to rock my life, I can tell already. Knowing that there will also be a Patsy Cline song included. My meltdowns are commencing in 3, 2, 1...

Fantastic job! If the rest is done in this ‘genuine Americana’ style, I am all for it. 

ooo and id also love to see her put her version of Smile by Nat King Cole on this album too!

Overdelivering on something great out of the blue and presumably with such a quick turnaround time... This is strange for her 

i would so die for her to do a studio version of her "The End Of The World"by Skeeter Davis cover. SHE SNAPPED SO HARD WITH THIS GERSHWIN COVER AND WITH THE VIDEO ENDED US ALL

Yeah, this is likely on the Standards album, but the song that's coming on December 4th is the "single"

She was also asked to record Doin Time by Interscope just for the Sublime doc, and ended up putting it on NFR because it fit the rest of the album. I could see her putting this on the covers record as it is an American classic and I’m sure it would help with the philanthropic advance of the song!
