I was scrolling down twitter and catched the video in the part she's standing against the wall and for a HOT second I thought she posted Ride mv for some reason!

ATMOSPHERE! FINALLY! ATMOSPHERE!  yes its a slow ballad type song but the warm glowy droning synth (if that's what it is?) gives it genuine ambience which, really, is all i've wanted!! it's dark and delicious!! one of those sounds that hits you right in the heart!!
 
(that being said.... i am hoping for some versatility  )

Very excited. Love the aesthetic!
 
It sounds very somber and heavy. It has a darkness that ripples through it to me. 
 
I def do not hear Jack here. Even with the piano arrangement the production sounds fuller.  
 
I’m getting early ultra demos/unreleased vibes. 
 
I can get the comparisons to COCC to an extent but this already feels and sounds much more full and powerful.

Does anybody else notice that her hair/makeup looks exactly the same as her jimmy fallon performance. I think theres a possibility that the BB mv was filmed at the same time.

It's actually coming. I like the snippet a lot, but I also really like COTCC (not as much of an NFR fan), so even though I'd love a rock album, I also love the folk sound. That snippet does feel like it's building up to something more... loud? I can imagine PWYC-esque-but-more-twangy guitars just coming in squealing a few seconds after that portion of the song, and Lana's singing growing in ferocity before it ebbs back to that calm, sad sound and then back again. I think this song/album is going to be surprising and I'm personally super excited. I don't even mind the cover art if we get good music.

The snippet gives me MAJOR unreleased vibes. Like it sounds like a 2014 session, giving me Color Blue.
