just saw two of her backup singers giing to the coliseum

I know i probably sound like a whiny brat but I just feel defeated right now. I drained my bank account, even had friends donate towards me coming and being in pit bc they know how much it means to me, missed my greyhound bus to get here, had to pay an Uber driver $400 under the table to drive me 6 hours to get here. like all of this and for what lol. To probably be at the very back of the pit even tho im about to go line up at 10am. Idk. I know it’s gonna be amazing no matter what, but I hope I can get good close up footage for my friends to see. After they helped me get here it feels like im letting them down if I don’t get it. I just hate that this is so hard. I don’t understand why that guy is doing that. Like who are you…. You’re not the Lana leader just bc you’re so unhinged that you were first in line because you got there at like 3pm YESTERDAY. 

Update: a guy at the front of the line is writing numbers on peoples hands. But he doesn’t even work there. He’s just the first person in the camping line. He numbered everyone’s hands and then half of them actually slept in hotels last night while their friends stayed out there? And they’re going to come back and jump up to their “number” in line. 
im over all of this you guys. That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. I’m just so done. I’m never doing this again not even Lana is worth the stress it takes to fight these crazy people for a decent spot. 

I think people usually wait outside where the entertainment parks and leaves- so like a back door, loading dock, gated parking type area. I’m not from the area so I’m not familiar with the venue but on google maps it looks like that’d be like, directly across from the greyhound station. Around 72 Lee st east on street view you can see the area I’m talking about but again this is all guesswork and I really don’t know myself lol.

For the most part the outdoor concert season is over for shows by mid to late October so unless they're making an arena leg... which I suppose would be possible in major cities she didn't already hit but those would have to work around hockey and basketball dates and have to have been booked many months ago.
 
This being an indoor show obviously contradicts everything I just said but the venue is relatively small (<10k) and doesn't have a sports tenant. It's also one of the few places she's playing that's not owned and/or run by the sickos at Live Nation.

So I’ve always interpreted the cia segment of hope dance as women in the music industry (it also applies to the common woman) reporting sexual abuse or wanting to and being dismissed, belittled and ignored or even further abused in court like Kesha. The CIA guy would represent anyone in a position of power including law enforcement who helps to normalize and facilitate abuse. It’s about the silencing of women, and how those that speak up or “act out” are deemed crazy or hysteric, even though any “hysteria” they show usually stems from being treated as a crazy liar. Her being dragged off could either indicate being taken to a mental hospital because they’ve made her crazy or are still trying to paint her as such, or more broadly and maybe simultaneously the metaphoric killing of her hope and her spirit. 
Off topic and re marilyn, a lot of hardcore devoted MM fans (or at least from what I’ve seen)  actually reject the CIA/murder conspiracy so I wonder if Lana does as well but it is clear I think to most people how outside forces like misogynist stigma and mistreatment played into her death so she definitely fits into this story in that sense. 
I’m already rambling but I could go on and on forever so I’ll cut it off here.

I agree

NFR is one of my fav songs of hers (her second best title track IMO) but a shortened NFR just doesn't work as an opener on this tour
A&W was much more dramatic and was actually from the current album which the tour is supposed to promote lol
and the other songs don't go as smoothly I think with this change

replacing A&W for NFR as an opener is such a downgrade wtf 

I always hated these sorts of edits, because they highlight the misunderstanding around Lana’s aesthetic and place in pop-culture—and they reduce her to “ooh pretty, sad girl”, which is a vapid analysis based off of that stupid Summertime Sadness remix. Actually, these edits are the photographic equivalent of that remix. 

There’s one of “her” in a polaroid thats really camila mendes i think and its just so bad.. the facial features are too big for the head and it gives her like a 2 centimeter long chin but so many people believe it.
