She didn’t play Hope, but it’s 100% okay because of everything else that happened.
I’m still processing everything including last night, but a lil rundown - Before Bartender, she mentioned my charm bracelet to the crowd and held out her arm to show everyone and I immediatelyyyy started sobbing. Then when she came down after Ultraviolence, she came straight to me, held my face, called me cute, and showed me that she was wearing the bracelet I gave her yesterday! I was sooo touched she wore it tonight. Such an honour. I was also able to give her a blinged-out Alabama hat (I told her I’m basically her personal accessoriser at this point lol) and when she put it on and looked at me with a big smile on her face, I melted inside. I’ll forever keep that mental picture in my mind of that moment. She is soooo beautiful, even more so in person, which seems impossible I know but she is just a real life angel inside and out.
Anyway, these past 48 hours have been the best of my whole life. My life is at its peak x

I think she's a bit full of it when she says that she doesn't edit herself or that she pays no mind to critics, because it's quite obvious that she's become more tame, both lyrically and sonically since she had her critical reassessment over NFR, and it kind of explains why she keeps going back to Jack as a producer. She contradicts herself, she contains multitudes.

Last night, Lana Del Rey stopped to meet Elle while shopping at Dillard’s in Huntsville, Alabama.
(yes, im aware there’s already a thread for this outing, but let me have my moment. & yes, I added a ton of the built-in IG filters to our selfie bc I had literally been sleeping in the car shortly before this and hadn’t touched up my makeup because I did NOT expect this to happen.)

you guys are talking down on covers as if her covers of summer wine, blue velvet, goodbye kiss, doin' time, some things last a long time, heart-shaped box, roadhouse blues, the end of the world, the good life, where the boys are (coming soon! ...i hope) and buddy's rendezvous don't exist  i think lana is perfectly capable 
 
also... to say that a.i covers aren't really any different from actual covers recorded by the artist is just so, so wrong

Sorry but Lana is not above Glastonbury - if you’re late you don’t get to finish. She’s been late 3 out of the 3 festival shows she’s done. I get that she’s Lana and acts like she doesn’t care about stuff like this but it’s actually really unprofessional and disrespectful idc
