12 is way too short for me. i’d say 14-16 is a good length.

It was almost impossible to listen to LFL from cover to cover except if you’re on a road trip. But I prefer the 16 very diverse tracks of LFL to the 15 tracks of BB: not that BB is bad at all (I really like it), but there are one too many songs that rely too much on piano alone. 

I would never wish for her to play with her health again ! WTH ?! 
 
Of course I want great materials from her coz COCC and BB were lacklusters as hell, but wishing Lana to do drugs again is off limits.

the way certain people keep eating it up is the part that baffles me more

People fail to understand that a forum is not a shrine or a church but a platform that very much lives off of contrasting opinions. ESPECIALLY more critical voices keep discussions alive. Without that, there would be no point in having a forum really. It's also interesting how there's a lot of hate towards Born to Die and Lust for Life coming from the Honeymoon &  NFR/COCC/BB crew but that really isn't being chastisized as much as hating on her more recent output, namely her last three albums.

I wouldn't mind Hollywood but a part of me still wants that unreleased album compilation 

I still fail to see this album as a full body of work. NOTG, LL and Cherry Blossom not being reworked at all and having vocals from almost a decade ago fully takes me out of the album experience. And the fact that those 3 songs are 128kbps and probs youtube rips makes it even worse... I wish she just reworked those like Thunder. She could've at least done a new vocal take. If she was able to record Change and add it to LFL last moment she could've done the same with a song like Cherry Blossom like...
