It could be personal in the sense that she is also afflicted with media scrutiny. Fame is only truly understood by those who have it, so she can feel super close to them. She also once said she believed she had a special, personal connection with people long gone before her through their art. I'll update this post if I find the interview.

Found it: “I knew then, really, that my closest friends would be people I have never really met before,” she said. “I was different and I didn’t know many people who felt about mortality how I did. As a result, I do feel a personal connection with the icons: John Wayne, Elvis. I loved how nice Marilyn was, I related to her. Finding girls who were as loving and warm as her is hard.” https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/elvis-presley-lana-del-rey-feels-friends-dead-celebrities.html/

    I mean I know she’d never do that…

But what a song, the mysterious, cinematic verses kill me. Such a shame it wasn’t released back when it deserved to.

I’d like to imagine the reason for the silenced parts were purely out of respect for those artists who have been heavily targeted by media and general public which contributed to their early demise. So as not to open up another discussion like “LDR name-dropping Amy Winehouse and Whitney Houston on her new album” or whatever. It’s like she’s saying they’ve had enough, they’re “free” now and must be beyond scrutiny. On top of that, you can put in those gaps any artist that you like who’s not with us anymore or even people dear to you who passed away and meditate upon what the song is trying to say as such.

Edit: Sorry that this is not really answering your question or in response to you, I just wanted to express my opinion on the silenced part when you happened to mention it. ♥️

I wonder if a Get Free version where she says Amy and Whitney still exists cause on the released one you can hear "for A- and for W-" but I don't know if the decision to silence those parts was made while recording (so a full version may not exist anymore) or after she had the song done (so a demo might exist).
Maybe those lines were from Malibu

I convinced her to love Arctic Monkeys AM but she can't remember their name because she doesn't speak English so they're called "The ones who sound like Pink Floyd".

GUYS, I just realized Norman Rockwell was from Daytona Beach which is like 10 minutes from where I live. It’s giving Miss Daytona! I hope she bring a little New York lana back, I’m also a Long Island native so that W Magazine shoot made me excited for what could come!

I'd like to humbly manifest this
-A clear and consistent, Old Hollywood glamour aesthetic
    -NFR level of promotion
-Lots of screaming & at least one guitar solo
-Three high budget mvs + maybe a bonus homemade one
    -No more complaining about critics
    -Hollywood or Hollywood's Dead
    -A poetry interlude
-A reactivation of the official LDR account
-An "Elvis is my daddy, Marilyn's my mother" moment
    -A tour

I had a dream about Lana releasing a stand-alone EP called Murmur Of The Autumn.

So my dream started with Lana doing a livestream in late August, where she talked about wanting to release something this fall, but it's not album related or anything. She read couple of books mentioning how beautiful and spiritual autumn is and she got inspired to make some "autumn themed" songs. She also said how randomly she listened to Season Of The Witch and she found the instrumental really cool.

Then my dream contiuned, it was the 13th of October when Lana announced that tomorrow she's going to release a song called Writing Songs At The Backseat. On the 14th she released a visualizer lyric video for the song (The video was a close up of her sitting in a vintage convertible car looking at the ocean on her side) and it had a NFR type of filter on it. The song itself had a LFL & Chemtrails fusion to it, can't remember anything else. Later she announced the release date of the EP (2022.11.04) and she also revealed the cover and the tracklist. (I can't remember the cover art)

     - Tracklist -

    1. Writing Songs At The Backseat - 4:25
    2. Amber Dahlias - 4:18
    3. Evergreen - 4:37
    4. ...Maybe In The Dark - 4:36
    5. Raindrops Gleaming - 3:59
    6. Day of Death - 4:55
    7. My Shadow Is Greeting Me As a Stranger - 5:26

Keep up with the Lana Dream Arc energy & the delulu energy

I'm surprised I'd never come upon this speculation about Fleet Foxes' "Mykonos", since I've been a fan of the band since day one and also have been following FJM for quite a while.

From the song's Wikipedia page: "The song is rumored to be about then-Fleet Foxes drummer Josh Tillman, now better known as Father John Misty, and his struggles with drug addiction."

From the song's Genius page: "The first chorus is saying that after all the arguments, interventions, etc., the friend will now go to Mykonos – a metaphor for a rehab center, which are often located in quiet, secluded places."

This performance with his divine back vocals towards the end surely hits a whole lot of different now:
