why are we even comparing the most mainstream pop artist rn to Lana. His album marketing is super huge and calculated 
 
not to mention that literally almost every song on his debut is less than 3min

And he said Arcadia only has piano. And he was surprised that Rick Nowels was included in the credits of Cherry Blossom. The plot thickens. 

When it turns out the unreleased songs were reworked into trap sultry witchy surf rock inspired folk bluegrass country synth wave heavy dark metal trippy pop upbeat bops

That's the general consensus right now. And I think it makes sense because what we have heard from insiders (or those who claim to be) about the song has all been really vague 

thinking about how no one has BBS but another insider already claimed they dislike BB as a whole…when we now know they haven’t even heard all of it (assuming it’s true)
 
I think this is a lesson for me to not give much merit to insiders’ subjective opinions especially when I have no way of knowing whether they’ve even heard the album or not

I'm with you about Boz but I don't think lustforlife actually lied about anything regarding the song. They just said it was a surprise which was probably just their way of trying to cover up the fact that they knew nothing.

well he might have an unpopular opinion, it doesn't mean he isn't reliable in general

 this mv was....amazing. I wish I could experience watching this video for the first time because of how shook I was when 4:30 kicked in ... the interlude/sample made it feel like a cinematic movie and it gave Lana's old Hollywood appeal. I went into this 99% sure the interlude would just be a nice orchestra piece, so when the majestic horns kicked in and she lowered her glasses my jaw dropped, but then the beat dropped, and I screammedd. I'm so obsessed with the aesthetic too and I'm addicted to watching this over and over again

I like how nicely threaded together in this album is and the thematics of each song overlap with each other. Almost all of the songs we know have lyrics about fire or burning which is very fitting for her current state and her revenge. You can see the way WW is placed amongst the unreleased shows there is a storyline and a theme she is narrating. And I like how Dealer and Thunder come together with their chaos and then right after in WW she seems to address Dealer and all the craziness more calmly, with the opening line “Here’s the deal….”
In this album she is definitely more defiant and disgruntled compared to NFR.
