    I still remember Tropico!!!

I don’t think I’ve ever waited so long for a project, and I completely agree! I never fell for any of the dates she gave us, but it’s still annoying that it keeps happening

The truth is that Lana is the one who stripped away the production on chemtrails. She is heavily involved with the production of her music now, it’s part of her art. She wasn’t a fan of the production on born to die, she said that in an interview. If anyone waters down mike dean’s masterpiece it will be Lana.

    I was just thinking this!!!!

also imagine if Lana meant 2022 unmanifesting it

I mean, it might be possible the album is done and her silence is just so she doesn’t give another fake date before announcing the real, real date?

I’m just gonna wait to see what happens next week, since that’s when the era is ‘starting’

I made this on PicCollage while my boyfriend was getting a root canal (which is why the quality is...questionable lol), but here’s the initial vibe I got when Lana announced RCS lol

edit: also, I don’t want a record this short, but I was struggling with the few available fonts on the app & gave up lmao

Imagine Mike’s surprise when he woke up and she announced the album for July 4th knowing they were still working on it

I’m so confused about about the release date situation (and also whether RCS is BB or not)

Mike Dean said it wasn’t ready but agreed that the soon-to-come project was what he produced & never corrected Fantano? Maybe he felt it it was clear that the record wasn’t prepared?

I know that Lana (probably) just threw out an inaccurate date, but it’s..weird—especially considering Mike Dean reposted Lana’s announcement if I remember correctly

I feel like this album will become a fan favorite later on in its shelf life ( quite like HM).Its introspective as hell but not quite as immediate in its importance. It’s a fine wine meant to be sipped upon and savored

COCC is my driving album now. it's really nice to just have playing in the background.  I honestly always skip breaking up slowly and for free, i just dont think they're lana's best. For free sounded so much better live. White dress has surprisingly become my go to song, just love how it doesn't sound like anything i've ever heard.

    I’m SO ready for this!

I’m picturing an Ultraviolence style shift, but instead of her classic sound mixed with rock, her classic sound mixed deep synths

i have a theory. see this:

    and this

    and this

so, as someone said already, maybe this is a UV type of situation. Maybe around this time, ROCK CANDY SWEET was finished and produced by Jack and Zach (?) and it was coming out June 1st. But, in the meantime, she decided that the production was not what she was looking forward to. She contacted Mike and he is reworking it and the album is now called BLUE BANISTERS. That's why she changed the release date, probably because she knew it would delay.
She thought it was gonna delay just a month (the same way UV took 2 weeks to be reworked) but it is taking a little more she thought it was gonna take.
Maybe it will delay, but something is about to come.
