Hopefully they'll mix the instrumentals BEHIND her vocal as to not drown her out again smh

If it's a recorded performance I hope it's actually live. LMLYLAW was cute but it was basically a MV with a slightly different version of the song
Manifesting a full recorded concert where she performs all 4 released songs

Imagine if we got a performance of Blue Banisters similar to the one we got for Honeymoon from the Live Lounge  I've always really liked her recorded performances, the Jimmy Fallon one last December was really cute (and I was proud of her for doing live TV again since she hadn't after SNL). The LMLYLAW + Silent Night performance she did for that charity was good too

Sheridan was filming from a recording studio…do we think there’s a live performance in the style of LMLYLAW coming soon? Or maybe a music video that has lip-synching scenes in a studio? I cant see why else he would be down at the studio with Lana (unless he was just there to listen to new material, but I feel like he’s definitely teasing a new visual)!

My predictions on the unheard tracks:

    - Black Bathing Suit: The placement of the Interlude just before this song can't be random and I'm sure it was well thought so this one is going to be a sultry trap infused track. Not straight up Summer Bummer trap but with similar beats to 13 Beaches or Cherry.
About the lyrics I think she'll sing about feminity and the desire to be submissive in some aspects of her relationship (qftc allusion).
Bonus: It's actually about going to the swimming pool with Jenny and Nikki and she's wearing a black bathing suit.

    - If You Lie Down With Me: Midtempo guitar track. Not slow but starts acoustic with a great build up UV-style. I'm sure the bridge will be iconic.
The lyrics are either about sex (inviting her partner to get to bed) or "everything will get better if you lie down with me"

    - Beautiful: It's so simple I can't really predict anything. The title makes me think "piano ballad" but Lana is unpredictable so maybe she'll rap or whatever.
I think it's going to be a counterpart to Black Beauty where she sings about little things that make her happy.
Bonus: It's about self esteem and how she loves herself even though people are always hating on her.

    - Violets For Roses: This screams HM lush production to me. Lyric wise I though it was about a lover lying or misleading her but after some of the lyrics "leaked" I'm not sure about the direction anymore.
Bonus: It's an angry rock diss track that goes straight into Dealer.

     - Sweet Carolina: A piano lullaby about her family. Hypnotic cause it interpolates fragments of Rob, Chuck and Alana talking in the back looped like the creepy kids of Bel Air.
The title is a triple "pun" about Chuck's name, a vacation with her family in North Carolina, US and the Neil Diamond song.

I think BBS and IYLDWM will be another Summer Bummer and Groupie Love moment. And I’m all for it!

I hope every or ever other album from now on has their own Venice bitch moment with a nearly 10 minute long song

note: the album stitches very well.  the lyrics talk to each other (even the unreleseads) and the rhythms are very well connected.  dont be afraid

it’s funny to me how everyone begged for an album with unreleased tracks on it and now that it’s happening, people shit on it. y’all are never happy..

buzzed on some wine and listening to lana so here's thots on her discography and how it works in trilogies:

LANA IN HER QUEST FOR IDENTITY THROUGH ARCHETYPES/STORIES
BTD/PARADISE - intro to lana del rey as an archetype, persona, etc. pop culture imagery, drugs, toxic love, grandiose aesthetics + hip hop influence.
ULTRAVIOLENCE - same themes but make it dark, dramatic, and add some rock. an absolute fave to many fans, the beloved icon. it's her image + taste incapsulated and refined to the extreme.
HONEYMOON - expand on the grandiose imagery of BTD/PARADISE, more orchestra, dreamy + haunting. less rock or hip hop inspired. very sad but not as hot as UV. terribly underrated and misunderstood.

    LANA QUESTIONS HER IDENTITY/PURPOSE
LUST FOR LIFE - transitional album / mixed bag bc of that fact. lana explores her persona and in fact begins to break away from her previous image created in the BTD/UV/HONEYMOON eras. trap inspired but also influenced by her typical aesthetics. she starts to deconstruct the men she has sung about; they are no longer James Dean, nor cult leaders, nor gangsters. lana herself is also no longer content with the image she has projected and wishes to shift in a happier direction.

LANA IN HER QUEST FOR PERSONAL FULFILLMENT AND HAPPINESS
NFR! - the opening lines are literally: "goddamn man child"; her lover is no longer a mythological figure or the center of her religion. the album is stripped down, beach inspired and contains more vulnerable lyricism than previous eras (HIADT...). its a new era for Lana and yet she still mourns openly, albeit now under sunny, California skies. instant classic but many fans suffer whiplash from the change in her content/delivery.
COTCC - much like UV condensed BTD/PARADISE, COTCC condenses the feeling and sound of NFR! as its even more stripped down and goes a bit country/folk at the times. lana no longer cares about being the voice of the culture, she wants to disappear into the wild and find her own love; whether its family or friends or actual lovers. ironically bc its the happiest of her albums, its also the one the often feels underwhelming to fans.
BB - lana returns to the stories of the BTD/UV/HONEYMOON era albeit now with maturity and a more holistic understanding of life. her lyricism is more complex and personal than ever. the sound carries on the piano and slow ballad that have defined the NFR/COTCC era but now with more experimentation and a new batch of collaborators. she is mixing the old with the new and trying to find a happy medium. more thots on this once it comes out.

I think BB is the end of the "Lana looking for happiness era", or her finding her medium. I feel her next batch of work will have an entirely different flavor.

(also i see violet as part of the NFR/COTCC/BB era)

so i was listening again the interview with annie mac the other day, and i noticed that while being interviewed, a male voice said something about fixing the chimney. by that time lana was with clay, so i guess blue banisters was about him? since she said that he would fix her weathervane. maybe it’s been already discussed, excuse me if i’m bringing this up twice
