Ok but I love the smoky texture in the marbling. So glad that it's not clear, and that it has some marbling to it. It's everything I could have hoped for 

The three singles were great before, but listening to them in their proper placements in the context of the album makes them even better <3

Also On and On keeps on getting removed from YT, so I'm manifesting that and  yes to heaven being on an 80s synth themed album

I'm still thinking of when one of her managers said "album()" coming soon and then re-shared a fan account's theory of another album being released soon in addition to BB. Yesterday in the live Lana also alluded to how knowing that she likes Harry Nilsson will be useful "later this year," but then also seemed to indicate that the covers/country album is still being worked out conceptually, so I wonder if this hint of her's about Harry is about something else coming. Unless one of his covers will be a single for the covers album? What does this mean lol

I did the same thing! I was so happy because I checked yesterday and they said it would ship on the 29th. The vinyls for this release are so messy 

Same, I'm so upset! I'm assuming all of their stock must be backordered, because I ordered within like 5 min of it being on the site

UO just emailed me saying my yellow and standard black vinyl won't ship until 11/19 now

I'll try to take some photos of it tomorrow! As you can tell by the lightning in my last pic, it's dark out which is not doing my photos justice and artificial light always creates a weird glare, so I'll wait for some better natural light tomorrow! x
 
 
Also, here are some photos of some of the signed art cards I've seen people receive. All of these people are based in the US, so I assume that's where they ordered from. The signatures are all soooo beautiful this time around! So far, I've only seen one person receive their order in green, and the rest are in silver - 

I just received the items I pre-ordered from Lana's US store! The transparent white vinyl, the two exclusive cover CDs, and the red & brown cassettes. (Bad lighting in the photo, sorry.)
I also received the Target CD I pre-ordered yesterday too. I'm still waiting on the yellow vinyl I ordered from Urban Outfitters and the signed art cards & CDs from her Canadian store and her Netherlands merchant. I have received notices from both though that it will be delayed, her Canadian store will ship November 12th & Platenzaak NL isn't sure yet. Sounds like that they both will be shipping the CD first and then the signed card when it's ready.
I'm so happy! As a collector, whenever I receive merch I ordered, it feels like my birthday  (which is ironic since my birthday actually was earlier this month lol)

I feel like i'm in the minority who loves the production choice in WFWF. It elevates the song completely and fits the title and thematic elements of the track

She’s also ten years into her career and released the album without promo… what did they expect?

I have the weirdest feeling that her next main album after blue banisters is going to really go all in on stylish, evocative bops
something in the vein of the trio, dealer, wildflower wildfire (outro), more summery surf vibes, trip hop, Mike Dean production….. 
could be totally wrong but I feel like she’s coming back towards a more pop-centred album next time.

This may be a bit of a hot take, but I've seen so many people mention that they've liked BB way more than they thought they would, and I kind of agree with them. As I've mentioned in other threads, I really do love all the singles, but I don't feel as though they best represented the album throughout its pre-release promotion. Dealer, IYLDWM, BBS, and others have some more grungy vibes that I feel like didn't really shine through from the promo. So many of us on here were nervous about getting an entire album full of piano ballads (which I would have been more than happy with, but this album had many more sides to it). That said, I am glad that Lana chose the songs that meant most to her, and that's the most important thing, but I do think even replacing one of the singles, or dropping one or two more from those I've listed, would have definitely given more hype to the album's release to some of her more casual listeners.
