Still can't get over that time i dreamt about being in LDR9  release day, and saw a vision of myself downloading the digital album after purchasing it on her official web store & when I unzip the file, i fucking see LDR9 goes with another hidden zip file which contained the 25 best unreleased collection album that she talked about in Amoeba 2017.
 
Really manifesting this to be real. Imagine if she actually drop 2 albums at the same time like this - hella iconic.

There are aspects to the insta-captions that feel like she's changing direction sonically. Also a lot of those bare-walled posts have a navel gazing vibe. Curious to see how it all plays out.

looking back it was so chaotic n kinda fun when we had the first fake date for ‘rock candy sweet’  we obviously realized it wasnt gonna happen soon after n it got old with each new release date but… i have fond memories.

Honestly i'd prefer if the collabs are just single droplets and don't feature on the album
I know it'd be good for streaming but i'm a Lana purist. 

i don't think so, didn't she post a clip where she was singing Cinnamon on her ig and said something like she was missing us all? I bet she miss her tour life already.

A single release sometime in June-July will be perfect.
She is in her hype season, doing crazy numbers on streaming, I swear if they ignore this opportunity

Lana's giving off "I just finished a masterpiece" energy these last two weeks 

no you’re like absolutely right… there’s something super super big around the corner. this era feels similar to norman where lana was everywhere in the media. many people who used to hate lana, that i know of, acknowledge her impact in the industry and recognize her as one of the greats for the alt genre. if lana were to drop an album right now she would go #1 easily. dealer, watercolor eyes, brooklyn baby, and the mass success on tiktok is very helpful. i have butterflies and goosebumps about what we’re in for.

I've had more than a few listens now so here's my ranking, best to worst: (i'm excluding the two instrumentals)

Hard Times is the underdog of the album. It gives me a strange sense of sadness, stillness yet contentment. I haven't heard a song this beautiful since Blue Banisters.
 
Western Nights is still doing absoloutely nothing for me. I think every album is destined to have at least one skip, and i think this will always be a skip for me.
 
As for the instrumentals, Televangalism is gorgeous and August Undergorund is haunting. Both great additions to the record and i like the opportunity for some breathing room after hearing Ptolemaea, it's a nice pallet cleanser leading up to Sun Bleached Flies.
