I actually really like the music video. I’m glad it’s 80% rob as it should be for his own album. I almost wish it featured more of him in the throw back videos too.

the similarity to dragon slayer is so interesting to me like cause it makes me think that maybe she saw the song leaked prior to recording lost at sea and then intentionally/unintentionally referenced the melody after listening to it??
it’s probably totally coincidental but idk it’s interesting either way
like I just know girl is listening to every leak and being like “omg I remember this”

It's a nice song but it ain't better than anything. It's useless to be harsh on a song she did for her dad's album anyways, most of y'all would be eating it up if it leaked randomly

if lost at sea was a leaked paradise/tropico outtake some of you guys would be completely eating it up... people are so negatively biased towards her new stuff even when it is reminiscent of her old work, regardless... it's just a cute, simple song on her father's album, it doesn't have to be a 6-minute long masterpiece which took 5 years to craft and perfect

Robert Fucking Grant!!! This album will be so peaceful and beautiful... anxiety-soothing day-at-the-beach vibes. This is a beautiful song, and I LOVE the underwater effect on some of Lana's vocals; she chose a raw, intimate sound for this very personal project, and while that may not be everyone's taste, it's a deliberate artistic choice; it reminds me of White Dress in that way, the choice to sing outside her comfort zone for a vulnerable, sort of wistful feeling.

these are nice! i've actually been designing unreleased vinyl collections lately too but they're nowhere near as nice as yours. i originally just had my sister design the sleeve and labels for me for a 2 disc collection of post-btd pre-nfr songs but before i ordered it i emded up designing two 1 disc collections (one of some of kitschy lizzy era songs and one of cute pop songs) and since then i've already designed 5 more and i was gonna order a couple of them this week lol. the worst part tho is once i'm done picking songs and organizing them and designing the sleeves and labels, i just start working on another one. i need to stop myself. i wouldn't mind posting some pics of the ones i designed too (or at least thw one my sister deisgned for me bc its the nicest one)
