Do you ever look at or engage with platforms like Genius, where your lyrics are reprinted and interpreted? 
I don’t. And I’ve never corrected anything. In fact, not for years have I actually submitted my lyrics to anybody. Should they be out there, they’re not from me. I would never. Good God! I don’t even want to think about what I have to say.

Her girlfriend is very cute and all but I need the next thing she posts to be an announcement for the release of die Life.

This is going to be very random and probably has been discussed before but I still want to throw this out there: What she did with L+F had to be deliberate (it is in my own reality where Marina isn't just a complete airhead nowadays) and if so, it's genius. The shallow lyrics, the hollow sound, the childish and worrying conclusions she comes to and seems very earnest about... Ugh, her mind. Such a sinister album and a perfect parody, just like Electra Heart. Obviously not on the same level but they had the same intention and I dare say they are equally as genius. I feel like people miss the point so hard with L+F, just like they seemed to initially do with EH. The parallels of it all, she is a mastermind... Not to even mention the outtakes and how they contrast the album perfectly and add so much to the sinister vibe. She meant for those to leak, I could go as far as to say she leaked them herself. Everything just fits together so perfectly. It would be very hard to pull all that off on accident. I could write an essay where I present my thoughts way more cohesively and in a way that actually makes sense but I'm dead tired so maybe some other day. Definitely coming back to this though.

 I forgot to share these yesterday so I'll share them today. Why am I sharing these? Because she's a beauty, she looks like a goddess there, like always! Godrina serve! 

honestly that was one of the weirdest parts of the L+F era, telling us not once but TWICE that her parents fucked/she was conceived in nagasaki, calling herself a ‘nagasaki baby’ girl you know that doesn’t make you Japanese right

Yeah, I knew that Japan story (her sister was even born there if I'm not wrong) and also  bed connection lost

Her parents conceived her there so she feels a connection there. My parents conceived me in their bed but I don’t feel a connection to that 

I'll have mixed feelings if Void wins best VFX at the VMAs tonight. On one hand, she deserves an award and I'll be happy for her if she gets it. On the other hand, I wish her first major award wasn't for one of her worst music videos, while MVs like Mrs. Potato Head, Mad Hatter, etc. got paid dust.
 
If she does win though, I wonder if she'll do an acceptance speech in the alien suit with the chipmunk voice, lol..

Detention grew on me hard! It is a pretty simple song with simple production but it's such a vibe, and really doesn't feel like it's missing anything.

While I think K-12 could've been much better with the concepts and cowriting/production, I love what we got and it's such a special album that is indeed full of bops. The Principal, Teacher's Pet, Lunchbox Friends, High School Sweethearts, Show & Tell. Literally all timeless and that perfect 2016/17 magic... hopefully soon we can hear those outtakes...
