It is not the same song at all. Listen closely, it just sounds kinda similar but is totally different, lyrically and melodically.
 
K-12 had recurring effects throughout multiple different songs (the deep voice in almost all of them ) so the same thing is probably happening here. The new song just sounds kinda similar to Sirens. 

i lumped sweeter than fiction because it was produced by jack so it kinda fits (and also we have no other outside songs to work with )
eyes open & safe and sound is def more understandable though
kinda want her to re-record all of them anyway though because why not

I wouldn't mind the change as long as is with the red moon behind her  I like the OG one but it doesn't really connect with the album title

she said on the space today that it will be the OG one for the first week but it will change to the new one after that
she’ll announce the new cover art on the release day
