I’m obsessed with this music video. Seeing the scenes that had not behind the scenes makes me wish to see a Candy necklace alternative music video (Lana looking at you, you did it with Arcadia you can do it again) 

This is the same black dahlia video she was teasing, since she is still wearing the same hair (with the black dahlia flower) and outfit in the video
 
I don't think it was ever meant to be a video about the black dahlia murder, she only ever meant that she was referencing her with the hair and outfit

the behind the scenes makes the video special, I've never seen another artist do something like this. 

Then they should just rename that the “Hollywood cut”

I genuinely don't understand why people are so desperate for a version without the BTS footage. You're getting looks on looks on looks but also Lana's actual personality.
 
There's no actual story to the footage they were filming, the BTS is the story so I'm not sure what you're hoping for??

Yeah in the car. Throwback to the born to die video. That's why baptiste is so shocked - because he sees her dead. Then it cuts to her in "heaven" on the hollywood walk of fame. 
 
The story they're shooting is sth like she's dating / is sponsored by an older man but cheats on him with a musician she falls in love with and then she dies.

iirc, when they were shooting it someone asked in the comments of honeymoon and she described it as a meta black dahlia or something 

i loved the bts scenes mixed up with the official recordings, like already mentioned here it reminds me of a old hollywood video
