Maybe not necessarily unpopular, but I looked at my last.fm stats  and realized that I really am a "post-LFL" stan  I just love her work with Jack so much and the more gentle and contemplative direction she's been going in. In order by plays:
1. Norman Fucking Rockwell
2. Chemtrails Over the Country Club
3. Honeymoon
4. Blue Banisters
5. Lust for Life
6. Ultraviolence
7. Born to Die
8. Paradise 
 

i think that "Did you know..." is a good album title, but i think that "Don't forget me..." would've been a better song title

Nectar, Cherry Blossom, and Living Legend DO fit on Blue Banisters and found a great home on it 

lana looks better now then she did in 2012. don’t get me wrong she was so beautiful years ago but she looks even more gorgeous recently. she looks so much happier

tbh i like the intro to the demo better but i like the rest of the song better as the released version

The alternate UO album cover for Honeymoon should have been the standard one. It just looks way better and visually has more of a cinematic feel which reflects well with the songs
 
Like take for instance the better text composition, Lana's eyes piercing through your soul and the ‘trust no one’ tattoo being in view which adds to the elusive atmosphere of the record

honeymoon demos are a bit overrated  they're good obviously but the final versions are way better

she does have a deep connection to them, you can see how their works inspire her music. posting them on instagram doesn’t mean anything; she’s not a teenager who’s gonna post a random instagram story of leonard cohen to show she listens to oldies. most likely she posts about modern artists to support them. and how doesn’t madison’s music fit with her interests when she makes heartbreak songs? how doesn’t rap fit with her interests when it was the backbone of her early music? also it doesn’t even matter if it “fits with her other interests” people can listen to multiple genres. like is she supposed to only listen to jazz/blues/indie music?
 
as for the “lana doesn’t know what she really wants”, why does she have to have a solid style? she’s an artist and music is her paintbrush, she has different moods and different experiences that affect what her music currently sounds like. in no way does she have to find a definite style. i don’t think she’s trying to sound different. i’m a songwriter and sometimes i write in an r&b freestyle way, sometimes in a taylor swift storytelling way, etc. there’s not a deep reason for it, it’s really as simple as one fits my current mood better. i’m sure it’s the same for lana, she’s not trying to be different she’s just making music that fits her emotional environment at the moment. she’s always evolving and finding new inspiration.

Livingly is the Word to describe this song. Full of emotions. For me it is lana in her purest Form. A old lana classic . This is one of the songs you don't need more Instruments 

I must be one of few people who enjoy Beautiful. I love the lyrics for some reason, they are comforting. It does kinda feel like she’s rushing through the song to get it over with though. Especially in the second chorus. But I think it’s a pretty song with a nice sentiment. And I enjoyed IYLDWM and I love BBS.
