i think the main problem is that some men refuse to see women as real people
and lana being famous is just the cherry on top of the misogyny cake

Gross and vulgar. Further proof that logic is lacking over there because in the same post they call her “mother” — sexualizing their mother?

going back to this because @past the bushes reminded me of it... i actually think it's pretty weird/disrespectful to randomly call a woman a "whore" or a similar term... even if they're just trying to be edgy or whatever... i just think it's a little gross

not to mention the sexual comment in the middle of the post that makes my skin crawl

you're absolutely right. it's disturbing in any case, but knowing that these kinds of people specifically call themselves a "fan" and then proceed to come up with some sexual scenario and use terms that are used to demean women, yet mask it as though they're showing praise is disgusting and weird.
*even more so that they seem confident enough to also post it as though their thoughts are normal enough to share.

I’m getting into this new artist and she has serious Sky vibes. She’s 19 years old and has 6ish singles out and is about to release her debut album. She’s like beabadoobee meets Ghost - EP by Sky Ferreira.

I’m curious to hear what you guys think if you check her out! Maybe I’ll make a thread for her later if people like her

wish i could find the insta post she made where it was a pic of an old detention/late note? and the caption, she talked abt how she always showed up late 2 class

also this excerpt from a 2013 interview

“As a kid, I was painfully shy to the point that everyone thought I was crazy or weird,” she continues, flicking cookie crumbs off the front of her sheer white T-shirt. “It’s misread either as attitude or you’re dumb, but I’m just quiet.” She attended lots of different schools—including “one of those religious schools with twelve kids in every grade and they’re all related in some way,” she recalls—but her social experience was the same no matter where she went. “I’d always have one friend, and we’d have a mutual understanding,” she explains. “I would be around them just so I didn’t have to sit awkwardly by myself. I would also become friends with the people who couldn’t speak English. I’d sit at the table with all the Asian girls. They were like, Who is this girl?’’
