it looks like she’s been gathering country songs for the past few years (nothing on blue banisters and ocean blvd is country, but we know she’s been wanting to put out a country album for like 4 years), so the record as it was in january was quite country-oriented, and since then it was a changed a bit there are probably some southern gothic elements to it now, but overall what we know about it isn’t contradictory. melodic songs, an Americana flair, less personal lyrics, it all sounds good to me i can’t wait to find out if loved you then and now is on the tracklist

maybe the stuff in judah smith interlude about doing the right things as a father, partner, etc. is lana taking a dig at sean... especially after a&w. like he disrespected her to the extreme AND whoever he was engaged too.

Just listened to the RollIng Stone podcast and they called Heroin bottom of her songwriting barrel They also went into QFTC again – at least they liked the new album.
