“Left the canyon, drove to the club” in Happiness is a Butterfly seemed to have been part of a bigger vision for NFR, then  -   I remember at the Grammy Museum interview + performance, Lana and Jack mentioned a little soundscape that they called “Laurel on top, Migos on the bottom.” It’s interesting to know that most of Jimmy was likely recorded in 2018.

Hope was an incredible closer, much better than Video Games. Actually 2 more songs after VG is perfect. It's a shame she messed up the lyrics quite a few times, but I could tell she was focused on the choreo and everything, and was probably a bit nervous to sing such song only for the second time ever.
 
I'm so happy we have this Hope performance because as much as I loved the Hollywood Bowl one, the screaming and people yelling stupid stuff ruined the footage we have. This crowd was phenomenal yet respectful.

The audio on this recording is fantastic. Her voice is incredible. I can't believe so many people elsewhere were saying she's lost her voice ... where is the voice loss, where  
Hope is a dangerous thing never fails to make me cry and this performance was really something special, wow

I also can't believe the setlist was 85% NFR, Chem, Blue and Ocean Blvd. This should be the staple of her setlist in the year 2023. She sounds so so good singing her new songs, I said this since MITA Festival.

Hope performance 😭 
 the ending where they take her away… it reminded me of Fingertips where she says “what kind of mother was she to say I'd end up in institutions?” I think she’s representing her past (the AA meetings when she sings the Bowery bums part) but also the dramatic future her mother had imagined for her when she was a teen… cause she probably told her she was “crazy”

Love the way she modified her set list for NFF. Cementing her legacy as an icon on the same stage so many great artists have performed on. The crowd seemed enamored by her. This is special bc tickets for this festival are purchased before they announce the artists and look at all the love she still got. I’m so proud of her 

I was thinking they are dragging her into an asylum with the "straight jacket" and guys in white coats.  I've been trying to connect the FBI agents to the story but everything I've come up with is a reach. For example, having the girls support her as the FBI questions her about her recent stalkers and if she recognized them and her becoming overwhelmed with the entire thing and the girls pulling her away.  How fame can drive you insane if you succumb to it but luckily for her she has hope and will continue to keep fighting.  I'm probably doing too much but I appreciate her artistry and storytelling and I hope she performs it again or we get a full performance. 

The hope performance kind of reminds me of a streetcar named desire like she’s being hauled away to a mental hospital at the end or smth 

the artistry..... I think this performance simbolizes a lot of things.. the guys reading?cia agents? and then she being carried away by two guys wearing white, and the white flannel they put into her.. i can't decipher it, but I know this has some deep meaning

I moved in with a friend of mine into his family house
But the have really big issues and they fight a lot. I feel like I shouldn't be finding out about any of this
 
When you know you know it's time, it's time to go
 
I don't wanna go, but I feel it's the best thing to do for me. I guess I'm staying because of my friend and because I like the time we spent together
