Looks like digital only indeed. The German RS site also announced it as "exclusive digital cover". I got the "dark edition" from the official RS store now, hoping the pics inside are b&w, too. It was 11 GBP only and if the information I found is right, there should be no custom fees/tax on magazine orders. Originally I wanted to skip it because I don't like most of the photos, but I really like the cover photo and the interview inside. At least the paper should be better than the one of Interview magazine, lol. (The size of interview is driving me crazy, too. As nice as it is to have kind of a coffee table book sized magazine, no way to store it with my other LDR items in one board. Beautiful problems, lol.)

I totally agree. I already had the magazine in my basket, but decided to check the photos inside before checkout, and removed it from the basket again, lol. Never been too much into her sisters work either. It's mostly the face expression and partly the pose which I don't like enough to buy that magazine. Not saying she looks ugly on them or so, I just think (photographer's perspective) it's possible to take much better photos of her.

Almost same here, and I feel the same about it. I only missed the crystal clear one of Chemtrails, as it was really difficult to get it from outside the US. I had to ask an US reseller to order me the hopefully 2nd press from her US store (as they didn't ship abroad for a while, too), but just got another frosted one in the end... Looks like they had still both variants later. (And I might skip the opaque white BB by Amazon though, I didn't know there were 2 variations until like 2 weeks ago, and now I don't wanna pay 65 EUR plus shopping for it.)

I don't know know though if the restocked pink Amazon will be different though yet. If it is a repress, shouldn't it have a later delivery date then?

The funny thing about this is that she doesn't look especially comfortable in her pics. Her face expression doesn't look very relaxed, as you would expect in a photo shoot done by a family member. That's actually what I dislike here. In the billboard magazine she looks more like she knew the photographer very well and like feeling extremely comfortable.

Depending on where you are from, make sure to check if your country doesn't has her on the cover, too.

Cancel it and get the Italian version. Will save money ;-)

Her shoots for Interview are always so good. Would love to see her in more editorial shoots (her David LaChapelle shoot will always be my fave)

the pics are beautiful but i really like the more “professional” photoshoots like the one she did with interview magazine

A bad habit so many artists have as they mature, which usually brings down the quality and professionalism of their projects.

Chuck can be pretty average tbh, I think her make up is off in some photos too.  Heavy foundation.  I guess she saves money using Chuck and feels more comfortable.

Not her best photos (it’s a tie between interview and Billboard for me), but the article more than makes up for the photoshoot

I understand that she's given up her previous high glamour style as a day-to-day mode, and, in her recent songs, stresses "watching tv and doing the laundry," going to the mall, and meeting for coffee as well as racing her little red sports car, but. How far in this process can someone in the public eye go? Art is often, or partially, about the seemingly magic process of transforming 'base' reality into something else. IMO, she or Rolling Stone should just have used the better photographs.

Don't forget the dark pink one has the poster. If I ordered only one variant, I would probably order the spotify picture disc, next version would be dark pink. I think this has the prettiest cover next to the standard version. Just decide which picture you like most. Btw, since Amazon allows you to cancel until a few days before and does not take money before shipping, why don't you order it, too, for now so you got time to decide without worrying it might sell out?

I also think some are really nice (mostly the ones in the outfit from the cover), and I like them probably more than other photos by Chuck. But as you said, they are so similar to each other and somehow focus on the weakest points, lol. I guess it was partly intended (as recent photography style often is...) , but one doesn't have to like the intention. ;-)

Thanks, full agree. I'm surprised that Rolling Stone even accepted them, even if it's Rolling Stone UK.

A person can want to appear 'average,' 'like anyone else,' and completely unidealized or unglamorized, and the photos can be beautiful. Instagram users see thousands of old sepia, B&W, and color photos from all eras and from all over the world that have been rescued by amatuer archivists, and many of them are purely beautiful and simple. It doesn't take a whole lot to sit up straight and, in small ways, play against your particular physical slights or weaknesses of the moment, whether it be a short neck, a double chin, a weak profile, etc.

But if you go into a photoshoot thinking "almost any photo of me [or my subject] is good or better," then you're going to get results like this.
She got some of it right.

Some are just not good as professional photos, or even as amatuer photographs. This is the best that she and her team can do? I'm looking at them objectively. I've never been a fan of Chuck's work. I'm glad you enjoy them and I hope others will too, as no doubt they will.

Have you used the contact function on their website? If you put the order number in where it asks for it and just ask them to cancel the order in the text box they usually get back within 24 hours. Their working hours are Mon-Fri 9-5 though. I cancelled an order last Friday after closing time and they emailed me on Monday or maybe Tuesday confirming cancellation

I'm literally the same way I got all the variants for COTCC besides that clear pressing from Canada, I couldn't get any luck getting that one and I didnt buy that opauqe white BB either cause I was broke at the time.

Now for the new album. I'm not stressing to preorder everything, not because I dont like the album or I dont want too but because I'm broke AF 😓. I got a new house and car. And the payments from that have taking all my money.

Yes, I can't help myself, it's an addiction. It's actually kind of embarrassing bc I realize how ridiculous it is to have endless copies of the same album
I have both the bright red/cherry red versions of COCC, the foggy clear/crystal clear, and the peachy beige/white beige..... and both the white translucent and opaque white for BB... all because the pressings are different

Lord help me if there are color variations between first and second pressings of these vinyl like with COCC and BB.... because I will of course buy buy buy

I feel like Lana’s team is keeping an eye on the scalpers & it actually makes me really grateful. When the necklace and lighter sold out they did a restock that was available for over a day. With the jacket, the restock has been available for multiple days and I see no sign of it going anywhere. All those people trying to resell for ungodly amounts this is KARMA

Some years ago it was possible to search websites for certain words through Google, but I cannot find this option anymore. Would be helpful. But I guess that Discogs would probably be cheaper anyway.
