Soooo I ordered from the U.K. store as it was the same price as the Canadian store at the time, then cancelled the U.K. store order, and re-ordered from the Canadian store at the new lower price which is now almost £10 cheaper than the U.K store (even accounting for shipping). This Barbie needs to save money and probably shouldn't have bought it at all but what can I do when the vinyl calls for me

Any Canadians noticed the price was 65.99 CAD then dropped down to 47.99 CAD on the cdn storefront.....
 
And guess who purchased at that first price....

I have to say it's absolutely random they really decided to pick these ""rare"" pressings and drop them casually this year out of nowhere nn. Like, if it was the 10th anniversary, the 5th... alright, but just dropping them is so iconic idk lmao.

I have purchased way too many records in the past week, but I secured it. 

I love PJ Harvey! Every single album is outstanding (including the new one, which is thematic masterpiece), but her first five albums in particular are perfect no-skip plays. She's one of my all-time favourite artists. I'm seeing her live later this year for the first time, and I'm so excited!

Polly Jean Harvey (born 9 October 1969), known professionally as PJ Harvey, is an English singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, actress, poet and visual artist. Primarily known as a vocalist and guitsrist, she is also proficient with a wide range of instruments.

I'll be 100% honest with you guys, if there's an album in which I wouldn't change a thing, it's Honeymoon. Like, I absolutely adore Say Yes To Heaven and California, but I wouldn't trade anything on Honeymoon for them. It's not even just about the quality of the songs itself, this album is a true one of a kind experience. Delicate, classical, dreamy, atmospheric, both vintage and modern, diverse yet cohesive, heavenly production, perfect tracklist (by perfect, I really mean it, the sequence just feels right), an unmatched soundscape... I was watching a reaction video last weekend and gosh, it's a very special record, a lighting in the bottle that I don't think anyone, even Lana will ever be able to duplicate.
I really love the sessions as a whole, a lot of bops left in the cutting room, but the final result makes up for it. I wish some of the outtakes were released/repurposed/reworked tho. Either be it an later album or in a sequel EP, there is some real good shit that deserves just as much a proper release. I just can't wait to hear Come With Me and Paradise for the first time, hopefully this year.

I really hope she releases an unreleased  album as due to her vast collection of unreleased music she could easily put together albums with certain themes and styles instead of just releasing an album called unreleased or demos. Xx

i know some have speculated that "jimmy" is referring to herself, but i'm speculating that "jimmy" could possible be alcohol? there's many theories about what the track "ultraviolence" is about (the theory that it is about the source family cult is my favorite) some have speculated that ultraviolence is about alcohol, in fact, somebody that lana knew personally even said it themselves that the "jim" she mentions in her songs is alcohol (also there's a chance she actually met him way before 2014 because he was friends with reeve carney, somebody who also knew lana in 2007, the song jimmy gnecco from 2007... etc.)

 
it's possible that A&W is primarily about her youth, and as we all know, she suffered from alcoholism when she was a teenager which resulted in her being put into a boarding school, and i think it's easy to assume now that being put into this boarding school was probably a very negative experience for her
 
"jimmy only love me when he wanna get high" could reflect the idea that drinking was only fun/enjoyable when it was something done with other people, or for the purpose of escapism, similar to somebody getting high, drinking only "benefitted" her when it was a way to have fun or to escape, this really reminds me of "get drunk" some of the lyrics share this concept of alcohol being something enjoyable even if it's obvious that it's very destructive "it's gonna be a ball" "this time it will be fun"
 
"your mom called, i told her, you're fucking up big time" as a young teen, drinking was obviously a bad choice, especially since she got addicted to it, she's saying this as if it's somebody else who's aware she's addicted to alcohol and that she's messing up herself and her life
 
"jimmy, if you leave the house, find me in the club" obviously, a club would be a place where somebody would drink alcohol, especially socially and as a way to have fun and let loose
 
the second part of the song is a lot more energetic compared to the first part, but there's still a lot of sketchiness underlying the beats and lana's catchy delivery, because even if she's taking about love, light, getting high, it's not out of a place of having pure, delightful fun, or feeling content inside, it's coming from a place of pain and self-destruction, it's almost as if all of the events or feelings she described in the first half resulted in her addiction(s), which would lead into the following years of her life and career

What if I want all of these ? Can't choose.

AKA rerelease or unreleased album could be amazing.. but if they do it badly then it will be horrific

a new album will always be good.. I’m gonna give it my vote even though it sounds less exciting and not “big” considering she’s renown for having an album lined up after just releasing one
