Wait what if Lasso album cover is in the style of a wild west wanted dead or alive poster. Like imagine lana looking cunty as a wild west vigilante.

I know we’ve all been burnt by her fake release dates before, but I do think this year (September/October) is likely. I don’t think her and jack would both mention it if she only has a handful of songs ready.
 
I think the studio snippet we got of Henry Come On was when she was feeling pretty confident in the album, same as when we got the Candy Necklace snippet in August and she felt the album was finished in September.
 
We went from the Candy Necklace snippet in august to complete silence until December, but that didn’t mean nothing was happening. The album was submitted and being pressed and we had NO idea. There is no reason to think that isn’t the case right now, some of y’all are so dramatic 

I want a lengthy tracklist, over 20.. I want interludes too or at least a monologue somewhere lol 
 
im still confident in September despite her track record lol.. I mean she managed to get OB released in the same month it was supposed to 
 
she’s clearly already been working on some visuals etc and I would hope the music is done! 
 
some news this month would be nice, but her outfit change at coachella to me was her stepping in to the new era.. so shouldn’t be too long now lol

3 months ago today, lana announced lasso   can’t believe these past 3 months passed without a single info 

Really wishing for a summer album. I know it’s not going to happen but I miss having a new Lana album to soundtrack my summer / make memories with. It’s been too long 

To be honest, I wouldn't mind if she puts an unheard The Last Shadow Puppets collab song from 2017 on the album  Their songs weren't country but they were guitar based so it's kinda close yk

I think title track will be under 4 
 
I kinda think the average length of the songs this time around will be 3:30, because after ocean she talked about wanting to do more ‘simple’ songs 
 
watch, I say this and all songs will be over 5 minutes 

Manifesting the longest song being 7:36 minutes
Definetly would be here for another 7+ song,  Venice Bitch and A&W are some of her best, we need to complete the trio

I guess none of our usual insiders has any info because she works with the Nashville folks. We should dig deeper in that direction. I am pretty sure if we ask the right people they would happily spill some tea 

Seriously what’s up with that? They’re taking pictures with her at a COUNTRY music set and they didn’t bother to ask her about her 1st country album 

Sorry for the essay but 
 
I still have hopes of having Lasso this fall. She unofficially announced it early enough to be realistic and she's been working on it for a long time:
 
- According to her she has been working on it with Jack for the past 4 (?) years.
I guess after or while making Norman and Chemtrails she had some "country" songs she wanted to use eventually and since Jack's security is tight not even insiders knew anything (they usually get stuff after it's submitted to labels and distributed).
 
- Then BB happened so it was pushed. Right after BB she started writing with other people like her bf Mike and continued that route for Ocean but... she wanted to finish it at last  so:
 
- We got the "I hope you guys love country" IG story in the summer of 2022... even before announcing anything from Ocean (but right when OB was practically done with only CN left so she resumed the country work right after it)
 
- She was in the studio multiple times that spring according to Jack and she also had some sessions in Alabama and I think someone there confirmed she recorded a couple of tracks. 
 
- A (probably) finished song in February. She usually teases new stuff from the studio while recording or in her car but Henry was uploaded as a proper studio version snippet so the Luke sessions were not in a really early state. 
 
So yeah I feel like it's realistic that there's a finished album and that it was already submitted so it's being pressed right now.
The actual vinyl is what takes time so she didn't even need to have any visuals ready at that point.
And since she was going to submit the whole thing around March she could predict a September date cause she probably already discussed it with her label 
 
Of course it's Lana so she could be tweaking the tracklist at this exact moment and we're getting a 2025 spring album instead and that's fine either way I guess
