Happy is truly one of the best songs I've heard. It's absolutely beautiful
 
I remember the first time I listened to it and I haven't cried so ugly since then

during the L+F tour, i mad my proudest moment as a fan
when she did INHA, everyone around my friends, my (now ex) boyfriend, and I sat down, since no one knew the song
HOWEVER I did, so i remained standing, and singing along, and I swear everyone around us just looked at me like "how tf does he know this song" and one of my friends was hyping me up when she sang "don't even bother feeding me your bullshit..." and i was just standing there, singing, with a huge smile on my face

Mte. Orange Trees is actually a cute, carefree, summery bop. And the acoustic version is really nice.

I don't know, to me, the difference is that Orange Trees is one of the few songs on that album that are not try-hard deep. It doesn't take itself too seriously, it's just a fun little bop (a very basic one, admittedly). Enjoy Your Life, on the other hand... You can just tell that Marina wrote it and thought she had done something. But she hadn't. With those cringeworthy lyrics, not even the most amazing production in the world could have saved this song. 
And that's my main problem with Love + Fear. Marina just shouldn't have tried to make it seem deeper than it is. There's nothing wrong with making "just" pop music. Like, I don't mind Baby, Karma, Orange Trees, Please Don't Call Me... They're nothing special, but they're decent, catchy pop songs. But if you put out an album like Love + Fear and then act like you've written the music equivalent to Freud's Psychoanalysis, then yes, you will get dragged and it will be deserved.

songs i actually really like and want to revisit frequently: end of the earth, believe in love, too afraid, emotional machine, soft to be strong (please don't call me also goes here)
songs i like enough to play when they show up: enjoy your life, true, karma, you, superstar, baby
songs i don't really care about: handmade heaven, to be human, no more suckers
songs i honestly would rather have been straight up deleted from the album: orange trees, life is strange

I admit i like those songs a lot. But they are admittely the only good ones. I have a guilty pleasure for Superstar and Too Afraid, and the You Demo is very good and alive compared to the album version. Handmade Heaven is good too. But, I repeat, this album is listenable, sometimes even with pleasure, but trying to save it is a stretch.

I grew to love this album. Love is better than Fear imo. It think there are too many tracks and that means more filler in this case. 
If this was the tracklist it would have been a strong album:

Do y’all dislike the whole album or just most of it? Most of the album’s just generic pop (which i dont mind) but imo End Of The Earth and Believe in Love are def on par with her earlier music.

1-) The production isn't bland or boring. It's generic, it's dance-able (TO ME)2-) The cover is not lazy lmao. It's simple compared to her previous artworks. Lazy covers are the selfies that Lana uses as covers

I was not defending it. It's not like basic is a positive attribute. How do I put it, it's listenable, I guess? I just think that how it is described here it seems an unlistenable pile of shitty songs with no melodies. And it isnt, it's not good ofc, it may be bad, but it's not terrible. It's terribly basic and average. That's what it is.

I mean, I dislike Beyoncé's songs but that don't mean she sucks.
Don't agree with you on the originality bit but personality-wise, yes. I liked L+F, not as much as her previous albums but it's still something a listen to some times.
But yeah, the album has no personality at all, lyrics and production-wise. 
I think the problem was she had too much time to do it, had a previous concept then started from scratch then wanted to add some songs from the other concept and well, it became this. I think she got lost, really
However, one person here said when it got released, that L+F isn't a bad album at all, it's just "bad" by Marina's standards

it doesn't say remastered anywhere on the record aside from VG and BJ, which were remastered before, so I don't think this is anything new. they just probably put up burning desire

Someone really needs to clean up her spotify library, it’s a mess. There are like 5 variations of Born to Die/Paradise and Blue Jeans and Video Games are titled “Blue Jeans - Album Version - Remaster” and “Video Games - Remastered”.

I mean, my headphones cost me like 400, everything sounds HQ, considering my headphones upscale music. Still I cant hear any real noticable difference. I feel like bass is a bit more rich. But I dont know if that's just me.

you'll only be able to tell a difference with a remaster if you've got expensive/high-end headphones. otherwise it will sound the same
