I've officially taken my Lana obsession to the next level lol.
I've tracked down some pretty memorable outfits Lana has worn - the dress worn in the Ride video (as well as a few other appearances) and the shirt and skirt worn in the Born to Die cover shoot thanks to some posts in this thread.
The Ride dress and the shirt worn in the BTD shoot were relatively easy to find. I only found one of the BTD skirt, but I was lucky that it fit even though I was worried it might be too big. They were all for a great price too - I paid a little over $10 for the skirt & about same for the dress, but they were both out of the country, so shipping ended up costing more than the items themselves. I found the shirt for $20.
My photographer friend is going to do a shoot with me in a few days dressed in my BTD outfit, but I had a friend take some quick photos of me in the Ride dress with a flag so I can channel my inner Lana lol.

Anyone else feels depressed as fuck? I can't believe how Lana can simultaneously make me the happiest and most depressed piece of trash on earth I love her SO MUCH and it's killing me

There's this tweet too and a lot of her friends are lgbt so I really don't think she has, I can't find the good word, traditional views on this matter

I actually completely consider this song as being completely destined to God and it being a litany, a real prayer. Maybe it is because I have a very strong Catholic faith but I can't help to use the words she use in my own prayers. As a believer myself I would be extremely surprised if she doesn't at least believe in the IDEA of God. I'm so interested in reading all your answers and the more I do the more I'm convinced that her interest in metaphysics is but a necessary and capital part of her quest for God, whatever that might be, perhaps not necessarily the Catholic God even though as we discussed it before she does cite in interviews going to the mass and singing at church with pleasure, but maybe even in just the Higher Power that is a very early part of the 12 steps recovery program (2nd one if I'm not mistaken) that she might have been through as an alcoholic, as we do have receipts that she chaired some AG reunions.

This is extremely interesting to me. 
 
I think that she do believe in a spiritual higher power, and I think that she appreciate the comfort of cult, like having defined symbols and practice, is kind of comforting. But I'm not sure that she's that interested in the traditional aspect of Christianity, particularly Catholicism as she was raised, in regards of her views on some sexuality aspects and as you said her interest in metaphysics, and the lectures she's been recently promoting. But she did said recently several times that she definitely was a seeker. So maybe she's just trying to understand everything in order to consolidate and understand better her faith? But I read on twitter that a fan gave her a "our father" bracelet and she asked to be said one for her.

Interestingly I think it's the contrary, I believe it's cacciatore because if I'm not mistaken it means hunter in general and not just in the dish and it fits with the idea that she's chasing him, she's hunting him, and that they're constantly becoming the hunter one after the other as now he can wait, she's eating soft ice cream, so he's the one that has to hunt her, something like "I hunt you by luring you with all my gold and limousines, with my glamour, but you're playing with me, you act like you don't care and you're just eating soft ice cream as you didn't cared about all these diamonds and just wanted a simple life, so ciao amore, you're only fun when you don't want me" I really love this theme and how subtly it's unravelling I adore this song

I would pay blood money to hear the chorus' strings clearly. I love the line "wear my blinders in the rain". God fame is really starting to affect her. I super love that this song is precious in her eyes.

I'm really blown away by how sultry this album is and uh, being French, the line "dying by the hand of a foreign man happily" reminds me of the expression "la petite mort" which means "the small death" and stands for "orgasm". So, maybe far-fetch and I'm sorry to have to be the one bringing this up haha but this is how I feel now with this in mind: it's the story of a girl that craves for a man because she can't have it, for his fame, for his exoticism, then when she finally have it in the bridge, she simply passes to other priorities, she's playing with him. I love this so much because for once she's not the one being played, she's in control and having the fun of her life.

It makes me so fucking sad when people blatantly say HBTB is terrible and condemn it. I learned it on guitar today and almost passed out of happiness. I already made like three posts about it but I don't care. I'm not screaming everywhere that I think Freak is to my immense despair absolutely bland and that Terrence Loves You is one of the Lana songs I dislike the most, but it for some reasons make me feel really affected when people talk bad about HBTB. Because this song is so important to me, I mean it's obviously super personal, but the day it got out was really one of the best days of my life because I had a real sense of community for the first time ever and I was so scared my sick abusive grandmother would kick me out in the middle of nowhere and I was working my ass off at the factory to pay the gym and HBTB got out and the lyrics were like Lana's spirit talking for me and giving me all the power I didn't had the strength to have and convincing me that there was something worth it at the end. And the melody is just excellent. I don't care about the boring beat, it's what keeps me going. I completely understand why some people might not like it, it's a special song, and it really differs from the rest of the album. But I know I'm extra, but it does hurt me when everyone says it's one of Lana's worst songs.
