I don't like the way she sings in White Dress sorry

I'll be ready to eat my words if I'm wrong but I'm worried that, given her reputation for digging herself into holes and then doubling down on it, this album might be a complete disaster. This is the woman who stated her romantic history with rappers as proof she wasn't racist. I just... 

That Rock Candy Sweet album seems like such a bad idea to me, like she is the one to blame for most of the hate she got in the last year (The mesh mask at a meet and great in the middle of a pandemic, the question for the culture & the cheap iphone-filmed music videos/bad album & single covers). This just feels like she can't see that she's in the wrong in many situations

She probably thought she can do it herself and when she messed her arm, they hired this model to do it all.
Apparently (according to legend) Lana use to be a figure skater growing up so she thought she can do it again but with skates.
It's sooooooooooooo boring.
I'm on first listen so maybe a few more times I might like something. I didn't like Honeymoon either and after a few years, I like a total of 3 songs from it. lol

I did not like Chemtrails album at all. She could do sooo much better

its bloated, clunky, too many uncohesive genre changes, questionable production engineering [cocoroach-ella... literally what is that?!] etc
 
 If it was released as what it was indented [ie the recently leaked demos of the songs like Love and the title track, Architecture, Yosemite] it would probably be her best album. There are many songs I love from the album but it feels more like 3 EPs in one playlist

Yes to all this. I'm not amused with this Joni hippie folk shit.

She needs to drop the Joni act and go back to doing dream-pop/psychedelic music. I need more Venice Bitches, Cruel Worlds/Shades of Cool type songs for the summer.

that’s why I feel Like this next record could be absolutely dreadful. She’s very bad at defending herself in a way that doesn’t come off as like 14 year old boy talking shit on call of duty on Xbox  

In retrospect Lana telling Azealia to get a new psychiatrist and psych drug cocktail was a bit   especially  since I’m like 99% sure Lana would go ham if someone said that to her. obviously I lean towards Lana’s side in that debate and I know Azealia said a bunch of nasty horrid stuff to her but out of all the things she could’ve criticized her on, she chose her mental health  uh could’ve just said “at least I didn’t bite a night guard’s nipple like you” or something and left it at that 

Tbh I liked COCC upon first listens but the songs that I have on repeat the last couple of days are Yosemite , White dress, TJF,  DBJAG and BUS .  I don't listen to the whole album from start to finish . I don't know maybe in some months that will change because I still like it as a whole . I had the same problem with NFR and the things were even worse because when I first listened to it when it got released I was so frustrated when I didn't like many songs on there . As time passed I started to appreciate it more but unfortunately It's one of my least favorites of hers even though I do enjoy more songs on the album that I did initially and that saddens me because I really wanted to like it

I listened to the leak, but didn’t play it tooooo much (other than wild at heart)
 
After taking a little break from it, im just not itching to come back to any of these songs right now the same way I was her previous albums which is sad. 
 
think the leak and release hype might have got the best of me with how I rank it amongst her other albums 

I dropped DBJAG in my 4th listen and I'm going to blame Jack. The majority of his songs came with an expiration date. Can be days, weeks, months, or years. Rarely it's over a decade

Idk if it's because i've been playing it so much, but the flaws of COCC are definitely starting to come out for me. Dark But Just a Game is very good, but it is rather dry.  I wish there was something more interesting about the production or the lyrics to make it really pop. 
Dance Till We Die...probably one of her least eventful songs ever until the bridge literally SAVES it.

I'd say most of the shoots her sister did for her are the worst shoots Lana has ever done tbh

I just want sexy mysterious bad girl lana back with big instrumentals and exciting music videos, please god do not torture me with more Christian grandma music about washing her hair and doing her laundry

just in the sense that i listen to the songs and I have to know that objectively they are about specific men for which we know of in her life .... how to disappear is tragic too there’s a torchiness found within songs that are more vague or older in her works than the songs she made as a result of her recent beaus also in my feelings her worst song I hope every man of hers that left dies and her next guy isn’t the same looking white dude off Melrose

underline the tragic in that I wish nothing for the best for Lana in terms of relationships and read above 4 the specific depth of which my comment is made towards before members dig hard enough to make a footprint as deep as a quarry
