Lana was spotted shopping on Melrose, carrying a shopping bag from Santa Monica Novella, a fragrance store.
I swear she just keeps getting younger & younger. Absolutely beautiful

Wow I have a music and design workshop and I had to do a presentation on pop music design and my teacher immediately said Lana was "morbidly depressive" before I even started. Like it can be seen as true but did I ask?? There was 36 covers why'd she pick her out I don't even wear my sweater It's 2017, why do people still think this of Lana, she's either catalogued as sugary vintage bohème or straight ass slow and depressive, literally one of the reasons I love her music that much is because of the variety of styles, ok it's a dominant trait in her released albums to not be particularly fast music but it's so cliché and boring. I want LD5 to be more pop or at least have electronic / boppy vibes  because I'm tired as hell of people having a negative opinion of her because they only see the aspects of her music that's visible on most cliché released songs, I want Lana to show them she's so much more than that, even though she doesn't have to justify herself. She's said so many times in interviews how much she cares about the critics opinions and how much it affects them, to the point of wanting to look as normal as possible. Well I want her to be herself and maybe it's being slow and depressive, yes, it might be, but I want her to be unapologetic about that and use it against people that condemn her, and I think LDR5 might be about, I think it started with Honeymoon, this idea of very lowkey empowering, like "I'm submissive but it's because I chose it because I love it and I'm taking control back over my fame". I think she's changing as well; her clothing style is changing, she's much more political, she's taking much more time to get this album out; I think it's just the machinery that got in place perhaps after the Born To Die backlash and kept on with Ultraviolence that's starting to be visible.
 
It's not to Lana to apologize to the critics, she doesn't has to apologize to anyone and if her music is like this then so be it, as long as she's happy to make it, I'm fine with anything, and even if one day I don't relate to her or appreciate her musically, I just hope that she'll continue being happy and do what is true to her above everything else because it's one of the biggest lessons she taught me

This clean slate feels amazing So pristine Seeing only 2 pages makes me so happy. So for the rebirth, I wanted to talk more about what has been mentioned already but not in depth - do you guys think LDR5 will have some trip hop vibes? When the track was described as horror Honeymoon it's the first thing that came into my mind, and that would fit with still keeping lowkey heavy drums and stuff.

Hi everyone,
 
The previous LDR5 Thread as well as the YAIL Thread have been removed. I had a talk with the mods, and we have decided to open a new thread. Please know that this thread will be very heavily moderated and we will not be taking things lightly this time. I feel as if I gave you all a little too much leniency last time, just because I love you all so much and felt guilty with giving out warning points. Things have to change now though (don't worry, I still love you all just as much.) Warning points & bans will be given out more frequently when needed. Again, as I said before, nothing is to be leaked on LanaBoards. Please refrain from posting any snippets, images, or information that may negatively impact Lana's upcoming project. Lana's team is now involved. We have to be respectful of this project.
So, before posting, please think twice about what you are going to say. We are taking things very seriously, even if a post was meant as a "joke." There are a lot of eyes on everyone right now. Be mindful.

you ought to know good and well that symbols like these mean a lot to lana. to assume that yayo is just a song about "drugs, motorcycles, and putting on shows for men" is to simplify things too much. it's a song, at least it seems to me, about escaping from the darkness in her life, really feeling happiness for once, and being with someone she loves very much-- i think it's so melancholy, though, because she doesn't believe she'll really get that 

i think what makes yayo so great is the authenticity of it-- you can tell it means a lot to lana, and it doesn't need anything else than the guitar. i find the lyrics to be absolutely wonderful, too. but of course you're free to your opinion!

A "Bel Air" themed doodle, based on her infamous "Paradise" album preview...

Aside from the others mentioned, a working title for AKA was to "Nevada" (which, I don't remember how, had some tie to 5 Points that authenticated it), and a local (NY) article sometime before or near the recording/release of AKA referred to the album as "God Bless America", which she would also consider for BTD.

Coconut & Key Lime Pie (if it's correct) and Ur Girl and also every outtakes from AKA that sound like Wayamaya/Trash Magic or any outtake/demo from UV that sounds like Fine China, Yes 2 heaven and the untouchable 5 

i NEEEED those rich whores rehearsals--"me and my boyfriend" and whatever the other ones were. the fact that someone is hoarding them makes me die a little with jealousy.

i hope we get more laptop demo leaks (well, i hope there are more to be leaked!), they are so mysterious and interesting.
