i don't really care for critic reviews, however, if an album is critically acclaimed it has a higher chance of charting and/or selling more so i mean its a plus

 

but then again if its not seen in a positive light its over 

 

Actually it's quite the opposite... most acclaimed albums nowadays are music that goes against the mainstream and don't really appeal to the GP. I think the last "acclaimed" album that sold well was Lemonade by Beyoncé and thats because she's Beyoncé
