lana, wtf, wat a bummer. I’m a realistic person, I’m a grounded person, I’m a mature person. I understand things happen. I understand I’ll get over it and love the record whenever it comes (please dear lord let it at least be THIS YEAR). All this and I still let bens post this morning sour my mood for my entire day. Seriously though there’s not a lot to look forward to these days and this is like THE thing for me. I was so hopeful she’d have a concise rollout that was clearly planned and meticulously executed. 
 

someone earlier mentioned that all the stuff she’s given us thus far this era has been amazing and that the music will be the cherry on top but like it’s totally the opposite for me. All the stuff she’s been serving is great but I don’t really give a shit about any of that, I just want the MUSIC. Bitch has been feeding nothing BUT cherries and it’s like I’m HUNGRY I want something more.

I'm sure someone mentioned this already but in the Interview Mag interview she said "when I'm singing about Arkansas" in one of the response to Jack's question (alluding to this album) so I'm pretty sure that confirms the Arkansas line in Tulsa Jesus Freak. Of course, you could say there's another song about Arkansas but I am more than sure the lyric is Arkansas and not "Our Kansas"

I didn’t realize anybody thought it wasn’t Arkansas. People do pronounce it the way she does as like a silly, not very deep joke so I when I heard it, I chuckled and thought It was cute and campy. Now that I think about it, “our Kansas” would be kind of charming though

Honestly as long as we get the single, cover, tracklist, and pre-order in a reasonable span of time I would be fine with an early to mid October release even an early November...NFR is still fresh to me so I can wait if we get a good rollout
