100%.  Lust for Life was super uneven, NFR I never listen to, if this next record doesn't have Honeymoon/Ultraviolence/Paradise-level songs, I don't think I can take another let down.  And I think the bigger issue is that she doesn't care if we care.  She definitely made better music when she cared.

I’d be down for a cover like that (good job!!!), and that sound also. The desert vibes could be a good metaphor for the « desert of our lives » created by the pandemic / « end of the world ».

She did say in a LFL interview that she doesn’t care about losing fans because they don’t like the new sound of a record.

She must think that we care too much in here loll. Maybe this is why the GP loved NFR better than many of us: they weren’t obsessing over each tidbit of info/ music given and could appreciate the project when it was out...

I still think she cares about her music, but she clearly changed her mindset when writing LFL.
