Blue Banisters - Pre-Pre-Release Thread

Mike said “you all have at least one song on the new album” in his interview with Anthony Fantano. 

 

So I’m wondering if that was Wildflower Wildfire and the rest of Blue Banisters was done with Gabe Simon and Zach Dawes. 

 

Since Mike said they’re planning on working together for a while, maybe they’re now recording for the next album. Lana did confirm to that fan in Texas that the album was finished and she was working on “new music.”

The COCC MV is high budget and nicely done with some beautiful shots, but the concept of "good girl by day bad girl by night" is just kind of obvious and cliche, and the whole video is just doing too much. I don't care about the album cover. I just want ONE upbeat song (Doin' Time, High By The Beach, Summer Bummer). It's been too long !!!! (Don't call me angel) and I'm sick of the ballads!

October 2022 confirmed as the release month for the record after RCS (1st June 2021) and BB (4th of July 2021)! It keeps getting better

So many questions with that pic in the studio ... mostly if BB is done and these new songs will be on the next album.... If she is still recording BB, we can kiss goodbye anything happening in June, but if the album is done, maybe Chemtrails-BB and LDR9 are made to be seen as some sort of “trilogy” or complement to each other?!? 
Chemtrails is about her relationship with fame and her music 

BB is (so far) about her psyche and what hurt her.

LDR9 could be about the next move/ the more “experimental stuff” (with hints of country maybe?)

I never had much hope for that song to be out June 1 in the first place, to be honest. Not with three songs out two or three weeks before.
