I'm not sure if Ibsen really wants to make money with it. E.g. there's no official announcement on Instagram or Facebook.

Has anyone thought that maybe these releases (with Lana's blessing) were made especially for us fans? Just to not get bored and to pass the time until the next big news? Now we don't have to annoy her to put these songs on her next album, lol.

I find it hard to believe Neros would release these without some sort of permission from Lana's team. She is a co-writer of the song and owns part of the publishing - so ultimately she would have a say in whether they get released. However it COULD be a Chris Braide situation - where he uploaded a lot of unreleased/demos to youtube which quickly got taken down once artists teams got notified. Either way I don't blame him - imagine having a song as popular/viral as serial killer and not being able to make ANY money from it because it wasn't officially released by team LDR... doesn't matter to her since she's rich anyway but I feel bad for Neros. But then again he must have delivered stems for both serial killer and paradise for Lana's live shows, there was a channel of communication with her team and I find it hard to believe he'd not give them a heads up. He's also an artist manager himself so I don't think he would want to cross major labels like Interscope/Polydor or an agency like TAP.

Yeah I feel like she would have been listed as a featured or lead artist if he wanted to make money. It’s probably going to be hard for anyone outside of hardcore fans to find out about these songs since they aren’t on her Spotify/Apple Music page.

idk why some of you have to be so bitter about this mmm, if it's illegally uploaded and Lana does have the rights to these and doesn't want them released she could / and will take them down, if they found a compromise (aka yes u can release them but not under my name) then that's fine too, maybe they reached a compromise that she can perform those songs and he'd be able to eventually release them some time later since she performed both SK and Paradise on her last (proper) tour (-the NFR tour, that half cancelled tour in that mostly took place in the middle of america doesn't count). 

 

I kinda wish they'd be released under Neros x Lana Del Rey just so they'd appear on her artists page under the "featured on" thingy and it would be easier to find them but guess this is much better than nothing anyway!

Hmm, I agree but also disagree. Love both of those tracks but they would not have elevated BTD in any way.
