I hope it's something creative with a concept that ties the whole album together like the NFR one with references to different songs but I'd take another - just looking pretty - picture from Neil like the BB cover cause I don't trust her 

 

Edit: Now that I think about it the BB cover also had references to the title track with the dogs and the "banisters" behind her

so much info that we've yet to know, lol no yeah the lyrics and dogs that ref'd the title i like how majestic bb's cover is if even she's just sitting. it's perfect to me 

i do hope she does something with her arms/hands or something? or a kind of candid shot. i'd love to theorize and think of ideas but we don't have much info rn it'd just be random rn

I really hope there’s some unifying production element that makes LDR9 feel entirely its own even if she continues down a similar sonic path

Like, NFR has the mellotron and its electronic elements, BTD has the autotuned loon and background shouting (among other things), etc.

While I certainly can hear the differences between the production and instrumentation of COCC and BB, I think I would have loved to see some “extra” element added to both to fully differentiate the two since they’re both relatively sparser sound-wise. That’s just me though

I believe Chemtrails is her most cohesive record... It is the one that follows its sound most strictly.

For me Chemtrails is more folky and BB is more traditional piano ballad centered with some random chaotic moments (like The Trio, BBS and Dealer) but I agree that they both have the same singer-songwriter vibe to it.

I don't think LDR9 is going to change that much from the latest albums but I trust her to add a signature sound to it like you just said. I have no clue about what new element she could add cause she touched almost every genre in her albums already and we haven't heard a single second from the new music 

Maybe she'll freestyle rap the whole album
