Gosh this talk makes me want a Gorillaz X Lana Del Rey collab after hearing how crazy and experimental 🌶️ sounds. I’m surprised she hasn’t featured onto an album with them. Like she has worked with Damon Albarn in the past for Bobby Womacks album for ‘Dayglo Reflections’.

… Although I will say Damon Albarn seems pretentious at times (considering his comments on Taylor Swift)…

Back in 2019 I had no idea she basically posting all Norman songs everywhere so when it came out it was like 90% fresh to me, then with Chemtrails I didn't even know when the album was coming out so one day I just woke up and saw the entire album on youtube  BB was the only album I bought beforehand, also had no idea that it had leaked and I also didn't know the unreleased songs 

 

But LanaBoards has made me a different person. A person who listens to LQ snippets and claims songs I know nothing about. A person who ventures into the dark side of the internet and risks her own ears trying to catch a glimpse of the new album slay.

This is my first time listening to l*aks, my body is ready. I'll take anything LQ and untagged, thank yew

rhinestone eyes is TO THIS DAY the best gorillaz song (followed by empire ants!) - they were channeling god on Plastic Beach and have never come close to reaching that high again. I definitely get a little bit of a rhinestone eyes vibe but it’s more upbeat and fun, but yes oh my god a gorillas collab would be SO fucking legendary.
