Sweet Carolina made sense in the context of Blue Banisters, but it seems clear that Rob's piano skills aren't far beyond knowing some chords and playing their arpegios and not a lot more than that. I guess its got a big affective/community value for Lana and the whole Grant family, but I honestly don't think the whole thing has much interest in musical terms.
Mer 62,097 Posted June 8, 2023 It reminds me a bit of a stripped back Grandfather! So beautiful! how the light shines in 2,657 Posted June 8, 2023 omg... I really didn't expect to love this track so much, it's so ethereal and once again her music is somehow making me tear up and feel things without being able to put a finger on why "I've got a swimming pool, I like to float on the surface And think of the stories I've already sold Oh I've got a feeling, I've got a memory Why wait for Heavеn when I can have Heavеn right here like I'm told? Oh, just like I'm told" 9 Quote 𝙸𝚝’𝚜 𝚐𝚒𝚟𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚏𝚒𝚐 𝚝𝚛𝚎𝚎, 𝙸𝚝’𝚜 𝚐𝚒𝚟𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚂𝚢𝚕𝚟𝚒𝚊 𝙿𝚕𝚊𝚝𝚑

It's right there in quality with that You'll Never Walk Alone cover. On the other hand, Hollywood Bowl is a million times better, and should have got the video treatment.
