Olivia…so overrated.  I use to think Billie was but Olivia is even worse, you wonder what other girlie is gonna come along and water down Lana’s music and sell it to the masses.

Overrated doesn’t necessarily mean talentless,  it means they get over the top praise and awards whilst other deserving artist's get paid dust…often those that inspired them in the first place and would not be around without them. I’m hoping the Grammys finally do the right thing, but I’m not optimistic.  It’s a shame they just vote for whoever they thinks the most popular it seems and who’s topped the charts.

This is why we can't take critics seriously when she releases an album. 3/5 reviews only to hit #1 out of hundreds of albums in the same critics' Best of 2023 lists. They're aware of her brilliance, but they never give Lana her flowers immediately. Pure fucking comedy.

Usually it's the opinion of the one person assigned to that album review. Year-end lists are voted for by the whole staff and contributors.

um troye sivan's album was so slight, basically a collection of 10 bubble gum pop songs, that i really can't get behind it behind so much higher here than OB.

I can't take it anymore, the most overrated albums of the year. I wouldn't mind if Caroline Polachek's Desire or Sufjan Steven's Javelin were at the top because they are amazing albums and are on par with Ocean Blvd.

i refuse to believe that people actually rank that teenage girl punk rock diary album and every other alternative rock with a female vocal album over Desire and Javelin
